All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds,1

ﱋThe Most Graciousﱌthe Most Mercifulﱍ(3)

the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful,

ﱎ(The) Masterﱏ(of the) Dayﱐ(of the) Judgmentﱑ(4)

Master of the Day of Judgment.

1:5

ﱒYou Aloneﱓwe worshipﱔand You Aloneﱕwe ask for helpﱖ(5)

You ˹alone˺ we worship and You ˹alone˺ we ask for help.

ﱗGuide usﱘ(to) the pathﱙthe straightﱚ(6)

Guide us along the Straight Path,

1:7

ﱛ(The) pathﱜ(of) thoseﱝYou have bestowed (Your) Favorsﱞon themﱟnot (of)ﱠthose who earned (Your) wrathﱡon themselvesﱢand notﱣ(of) those who go astrayﱤ(7)

the Path of those You have blessed—not those You are displeased with, or those who are astray.1
