8:70

ﱁOﱂProphetﱃSayﱄto whoeverﱅ(is) inﱆyour handsﱇofﱈthe captivesﱉIfﱊknowsﱋAllahﱌinﱍyour heartsﱎany goodﱏHe will give youﱐbetterﱑthan whatﱒwas takenﱓfrom youﱔand He will forgiveﱕﱖyouﱗAnd Allahﱘ(is) Oft-ForgivingﱙMost Mercifulﱚ(70)

O Prophet! Tell the captives in your custody, “If Allah finds goodness in your hearts, He will give you better than what has been taken from you, and forgive you. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

8:71

ﱛBut ifﱜthey intendﱝ(to) betray youﱞcertainlyﱟthey have betrayedﱠAllahﱡfromﱢbeforeﱣSo He gave (you) powerﱤﱥover themﱦAnd Allahﱧ(is) All-KnowerﱨAll-Wiseﱩ(71)

But if their intention is only to betray you ˹O Prophet˺, they sought to betray Allah before. But He gave you power over them. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

8:72

ﱪIndeedﱫthose whoﱬbelievedﱭand emigratedﱮand strove hardﱯwith their wealthﱰand their livesﱱinﱲ(the) wayﱳ(of) Allahﱴand those whoﱵgave shelterﱶand helpedﱷthose ﱸsome of themﱹ(are) alliesﱺﱻ(of) anotherﱼBut those whoﱽbelievedﱾand (did) notﱿemigrateﲀ(it is) notﲁfor youﲂ(of)ﲃtheir protectionﲄ(in)ﲅ(in) anythingﲆuntilﲇﲈthey emigrateﲉAnd ifﲊthey seek your helpﲋinﲌthe religionﲍthen upon youﲎ(is to) help themﲏexceptﲐagainstﲑa peopleﲒbetween youﲓand between themﲔﲕ(is) a treatyﲖAnd Allahﲗof whatﲘyou doﲙ(is) All-Seerﲚ(72)

Those who believed, emigrated, and strived with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave them shelter and help—they are truly guardians of one another. As for those who believed but did not emigrate, you have no obligations to them until they emigrate. But if they seek your help ˹against persecution˺ in faith, it is your obligation to help them, except against people bound with you in a treaty. Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.

8:73

ﲛAnd those whoﲜdisbelieveﲝsome of themﲞ(are) alliesﲟﲠ(to) anotherﲡIf notﲢyou do itﲣ(there) will beﲤoppressionﲥinﲦthe earthﲧand corruptionﲨgreatﲩ(73)

As for the disbelievers, they are guardians of one another. And unless you ˹believers˺ act likewise, there will be great oppression and corruption in the land.

8:74

ﲪAnd those whoﲫbelievedﲬand emigratedﲭand strove hardﲮinﲯ(the) wayﲰ(of) Allahﲱand those whoﲲgave shelterﲳand helpedﲴthose ﲵthey (are)ﲶthe believersﲷﲸ(in) truthﲹFor themﲺ(is) forgivenessﲻand a provisionﲼnobleﲽ(74)

Those who believed, migrated, and struggled in the cause of Allah, and those who gave ˹them˺ shelter and help, they are the true believers. They will have forgiveness and an honourable provision.

8:75

ﲾAnd those whoﲿbelievedﳀfromﳁafterwardsﳂand emigratedﳃand strove hardﳄwith youﳅthen thoseﳆﳇ(are) of youﳈBut thoseﳉ(of) blood relationshipﳊsome of themﳋ(are) nearerﳌto anotherﳍinﳎ(the) Bookﳏﳐ(of) AllahﳑIndeedﳒAllahﳓof everyﳔthingﳕ(is) All-Knowerﳖ(75)

And those who later believed, migrated, and struggled alongside you, they are also with you. But only blood relatives are now entitled to inherit from one another, as ordained by Allah. Surely Allah has ˹full˺ knowledge of everything.1
