ﱁ ﱂFor those whoﱃdo goodﱄ(is) the bestﱅﱆand moreﱇAnd notﱈ(will) coverﱉtheir facesﱊdustﱋand notﱌﱍhumiliationﱎThoseﱏ(are the) companionsﱐﱑ(of) Paradiseﱒtheyﱓin itﱔ(will) abide foreverﱕ(26)
Those who do good will have the finest reward1 and ˹even˺ more.2 Neither gloom nor disgrace will cover their faces. It is they who will be the residents of Paradise. They will be there forever.
10:27
ﱖAnd those whoﱗearnedﱘthe evil deedsﱙ(the) recompenseﱚ(of) an evil deedﱛ(is) like itﱜand (will) cover themﱝﱞhumiliationﱟThey will not haveﱠThey will not haveﱡfromﱢAllahﱣanyﱤﱥdefenderﱦAs ifﱧhad been coveredﱨtheir facesﱩ(with) piecesﱪfromﱫthe darkness (of) nightﱬﱭthe darkness (of) nightﱮThoseﱯ(are the) companionsﱰﱱ(of) the Fireﱲtheyﱳin itﱴ(will) abide foreverﱵ(27)
As for those who commit evil, the reward of an evil deed is its equivalent. Humiliation will cover them—with no one to protect them from Allah—as if their faces were covered with patches of the night’s deep darkness. It is they who will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever.
10:28
ﱶAnd (the) DayﱷWe will gather themﱸall togetherﱹthenﱺWe will sayﱻto those whoﱼassociate partners (with Allah)ﱽ(Remain in) your placeﱾyouﱿﲀand your partnersﲁThen We will separateﲂﲃ[between] themﲄand (will) sayﲅtheir partnersﲆNotﲇyou used (to)ﲈworship usﲉworship usﲊ(28)
˹Consider˺ the Day We will gather them all together then say to those who associated others ˹with Allah in worship˺, “Stay in your places—you and your associate-gods.” We will separate them from each other, and their associate-gods will say, “It was not us that you worshipped!
10:29
ﲋSo sufficientﲌ(is) Allahﲍ(as) a witnessﲎbetween usﲏand between youﲐthatﲑwe wereﲒofﲓyour worshipﲔcertainly unawareﲕ(29)
Allah is sufficient as a Witness between each of us that we were totally unaware of your worship.”
10:30
ﲖThereﲗwill be put to trialﲘeveryﲙsoulﲚ(for) whatﲛﲜit did previouslyﲝand they will be returnedﲞtoﲟAllahﲠtheir Lordﲡﲢthe trueﲣand will be lostﲤfrom themﲥwhatﲦthey used (to)ﲧinventﲨ(30)
Then and there every soul will face ˹the consequences of˺ what it had done. They all will be returned to Allah—their True Master. And whatever ˹gods˺ they fabricated will fail them.
10:31
ﲩSayﲪWhoﲫprovides for youﲬfromﲭthe skyﲮand the earthﲯOr whoﲰcontrolsﲱthe hearingﲲand the sightﲳAnd whoﲴbrings outﲵthe livingﲶfromﲷthe deadﲸand brings forthﲹthe deadﲺfromﲻthe livingﲼAnd whoﲽdisposesﲾﲿthe affairsﳀThen they will sayﳁﳂAllahﳃThen sayﳄThen will notﳅyou fear (Him)ﳆ(31)
Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Who provides for you from heaven and earth? Who owns ˹your˺ hearing and sight? Who brings forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living? And who conducts every affair?” They will ˹surely˺ say, “Allah.” Say, “Will you not then fear ˹Him˺?
10:32
ﳇFor thatﳈ(is) Allahﳉyour Lordﳊﳋthe trueﳌSo what (can be)ﳍafterﳎthe truthﳏexceptﳐﳑthe errorﳒSo howﳓ(are) you turned awayﳔ(32)
That is Allah—your True Lord. So what is beyond the truth except falsehood? How can you then be turned away?”
10:33
ﳕThusﳖ(is) proved trueﳗ(the) Wordﳘ(of) your Lordﳙuponﳚthose whoﳛdefiantly disobeyedﳜthat theyﳝ(will) notﳞbelieveﳟ(33)
And so your Lord’s decree has been proven true against the rebellious—that they will never believe.
