26:84
ﱁAnd grantﱂ[for] meﱃa mentionﱄ(of) honorﱅamongﱆthe later (generations)ﱇ(84)
Bless me with honourable mention among later generations.1
26:85
ﱈAnd make meﱉofﱊ(the) inheritorsﱋ(of) Garden(s)ﱌ(of) Delightﱍ(85)
Make me one of those awarded the Garden of Bliss.
26:86
ﱎAnd forgiveﱏmy fatherﱐIndeed, heﱑisﱒofﱓthose astrayﱔ(86)
Forgive my father, for he is certainly one of the misguided.
26:87
ﱕAnd (do) notﱖdisgrace meﱗ(on the) Dayﱘthey are resurrectedﱙ(87)
And do not disgrace me on the Day all will be resurrected—
26:88
ﱚ(The) Dayﱛnotﱜwill benefitﱝwealthﱞand notﱟsonsﱠ(88)
the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit.
26:89
ﱡExceptﱢ(he) whoﱣcomesﱤ(to) Allahﱥwith a heartﱦsoundﱧ(89)
Only those who come before Allah with a pure heart ˹will be saved˺.”1
26:90
ﱨAnd (will be) brought nearﱩthe Paradiseﱪfor the righteousﱫ(90)
˹On that Day˺ Paradise will be brought near to the God-fearing,
26:91
ﱬAnd (will be) made manifestﱭthe Hellfireﱮto the deviatorsﱯ(91)
and the Hellfire will be displayed to the deviant.
26:92
ﱰAnd it will be saidﱱto themﱲWhereﱳ(is) thatﱴyou usedﱵ(to) worshipﱶ(92)
And it will be said to them, “Where are those you used to worship
26:93
ﱷBesides AllahﱸBesides AllahﱹBesides AllahﱺCanﱻthey help youﱼorﱽhelp themselvesﱾ(93)
besides Allah? Can they help you or even help themselves?”
26:94
ﱿThen they will be overturnedﲀinto itﲁtheyﲂand the deviatorsﲃ(94)
Then the idols will be hurled headlong into Hell, along with the deviant
26:95
ﲄAnd (the) hostsﲅ(of) Iblisﲆall togetherﲇ(95)
and the soldiers of Iblîs,1 all together.
26:96
ﲈThey (will) sayﲉwhile theyﲊin itﲋ(are) disputingﲌ(96)
There the deviant will cry while disputing with their idols,
26:97
ﲍBy Allahﲎindeedﲏwe wereﲐsurely inﲑerrorﲒclearﲓ(97)
“By Allah! We were clearly mistaken,
26:98
ﲔWhenﲕwe equated youﲖwith (the) Lordﲗ(of) the worldsﲘ(98)
when we made you equal to the Lord of all worlds.
26:99
ﲙAnd notﲚmisguided usﲛexceptﲜthe criminalsﲝ(99)
And none led us astray other than the wicked.
26:100
ﲞSo (now) notﲟwe haveﲠanyﲡintercessorsﲢ(100)
Now we have none to intercede for us,
26:101
ﲣAnd notﲤa friendﲥcloseﲦ(101)
nor a close friend.
26:102
ﲧThen ifﲨthatﲩwe hadﲪa returnﲫthen we could beﲬofﲭthe believersﲮ(102)
If only we could have a second chance, then we would be believers.”
26:103
ﲯIndeedﲰinﲱthatﲲﲳsurely is a Signﲴbut notﲵareﲶmost of themﲷbelieversﲸ(103)
Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.
26:104
ﲹAnd indeedﲺyour Lordﲻsurely Heﲼ(is) the All-Mightyﲽthe Most Mercifulﲾ(104)
And your Lord is certainly the Almighty, Most Merciful.
26:105
ﲿDeniedﳀ(the) peopleﳁ(of) Nuhﳂthe Messengersﳃ(105)
The people of Noah rejected the messengers1
26:106
ﳄWhenﳅsaidﳆto themﳇtheir brotherﳈNuhﳉWill notﳊyou fear (Allah)ﳋ(106)
when their brother Noah said to them, “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?
26:107
ﳌIndeed, I amﳍto youﳎa Messengerﳏtrustworthyﳐ(107)
I am truly a trustworthy messenger to you.
26:108
ﳑSo fearﳒAllahﳓand obey meﳔ(108)
So fear Allah, and obey me.
26:109
ﳕAnd notﳖI ask (of) youﳗfor itﳘanyﳙﳚpaymentﳛNotﳜ(is) my paymentﳝbutﳞfromﳟ(the) Lordﳠ(of) the worldsﳡ(109)
I do not ask you for any reward for this ˹message˺. My reward is only from the Lord of all worlds.
26:110
ﳢSo fearﳣAllahﳤand obey meﳥ(110)
So fear Allah, and obey me.”
26:111
ﳦ ﳧThey saidﳨShould we believeﳩin youﳪwhile followed youﳫthe lowestﳬ(111)
They argued, “How can we believe in you, when you are followed ˹only˺ by the lowest of the low?”1
