42:11

ﱁ(The) Creatorﱂ(of) the heavensﱃﱄand the earthﱅHe madeﱆfor youﱇfromﱈyourselvesﱉmatesﱊand amongﱋthe cattleﱌmatesﱍHe multiplies youﱎﱏtherebyﱐ(There) is notﱑlike Himﱒﱓanythingﱔand Heﱕ(is) the All-Hearerﱖthe All-Seerﱗ(11)

˹He is˺ the Originator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you spouses from among yourselves, and ˹made˺ mates for cattle ˹as well˺—multiplying you ˹both˺. There is nothing like Him, for He ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

42:12

ﱘTo Him (belongs)ﱙ(the) keysﱚ(of) the heavensﱛﱜand the earthﱝHe extendsﱞthe provisionﱟfor whomﱠHe willsﱡﱢand restrictsﱣIndeed, Heﱤof everyﱥthingﱦ(is) All-Knowerﱧ(12)

To Him belong the keys ˹of the treasuries˺ of the heavens and the earth. He gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills. Indeed, He has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.

42:13

ﱨ ﱩHe has ordainedﱪfor youﱫofﱬthe religionﱭwhatﱮHe enjoinedﱯuponﱰNuhﱱand that whichﱲWe have revealedﱳto youﱴand whatﱵWe enjoinedﱶuponﱷIbrahimﱸand Musaﱹﱺand IsaﱻToﱼestablishﱽthe religionﱾand notﱿbe dividedﲀﲁthereinﲂIs difficultﲃonﲄthe polytheistsﲅwhatﲆyou call themﲇﲈto itﲉAllahﲊchoosesﲋfor HimselfﲌwhomﲍHe willsﲎand guidesﲏto Himselfﲐwhoeverﲑturnsﲒ(13)

He has ordained for you ˹believers˺ the Way which He decreed for Noah, and what We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ and what We decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus,1 ˹commanding:˺ “Uphold the faith, and make no divisions in it.” What you call the polytheists to is unbearable for them. Allah chooses for Himself whoever He wills, and guides to Himself whoever turns ˹to Him˺.

42:14

ﲓAnd notﲔthey became dividedﲕuntilﲖafterﲗafterﲘ[what]ﲙcame to themﲚthe knowledgeﲛ(out of) rivalryﲜﲝamong themﲞAnd if notﲟ(for) a wordﲠ(that) precededﲡfromﲢyour Lordﲣforﲤa termﲥspecifiedﲦsurely, it (would have) been settledﲧﲨbetween themﲩAnd indeedﲪthose whoﲫwere made to inheritﲬthe Bookﲭafter themﲮafter themﲯ(are) surely inﲰdoubtﲱconcerning it ﲲdisquietingﲳ(14)

They did not split ˹into sects˺ out of mutual envy until knowledge came to them.1 Had it not been for a prior decree from your Lord for an appointed term,2 the matter would have certainly been settled between them ˹at once˺. And surely those who were made to inherit the Scripture3 after them are truly in alarming doubt about this ˹Quran˺.

42:15

ﲴSo to thatﲵﲶthen inviteﲷand stand firmﲸasﲹﲺyou are commandedﲻand (do) notﲼfollowﲽﲾtheir desiresﲿbut sayﳀI believeﳁin whatﳂAllah has sent downﳃAllah has sent downﳄofﳅﳆ(the) Bookﳇand I am commandedﳈthat I do justiceﳉﳊbetween youﳋAllahﳌ(is) our Lordﳍﳎand your LordﳏFor usﳐour deedsﳑand for youﳒﳓyour deedsﳔ(There is) noﳕargumentﳖbetween usﳗﳘand between youﳙAllahﳚwill assembleﳛﳜ[between] usﳝand to Himﳞ(is) the final returnﳟ(15)

Because of that, you ˹O Prophet˺ will invite ˹all˺. Be steadfast as you are commanded, and do not follow their desires. And say, “I believe in every Scripture Allah has revealed. And I am commanded to judge fairly among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. We will be accountable for our deeds and you for yours. There is no ˹need for˺ contention between us. Allah will gather us together ˹for judgment˺. And to Him is the final return.”
