No calamity befalls ˹anyone˺ except by Allah’s Will. And whoever has faith in Allah, He will ˹rightly˺ guide their hearts ˹through adversity˺. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.
Obey Allah and obey the Messenger! But if you turn away, then Our Messenger’s duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺ clearly.
64:13
ﱮAllahﱯ(there is) noﱰgodﱱexceptﱲﱳHimﱴAnd uponﱵAllahﱶlet put (their) trustﱷthe believersﱸ(13)
Allah—there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. So in Allah let the believers put their trust.
64:14
ﱹOﱺ(you) whoﱻbelieveﱼIndeedﱽfromﱾyour spousesﱿand your childrenﲀ(are) enemiesﲁto youﲂﲃso beware of themﲄBut ifﲅyou pardonﲆand overlookﲇand forgiveﲈthen indeedﲉAllahﲊ(is) Oft-ForgivingﲋMost Mercifulﲌ(14)
O believers! Indeed, some of your spouses and children are enemies to you,1 so beware of them. But if you pardon, overlook, and forgive ˹their faults˺, then Allah is truly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
64:15
ﲍOnlyﲎyour wealthﲏand your childrenﲐﲑ(are) a trialﲒand Allah ﲓwith Himﲔ(is) a rewardﲕgreatﲖ(15)
Your wealth and children are only a test, but Allah ˹alone˺ has a great reward.
64:16
ﲗSo fearﲘAllahﲙwhatﲚyou are ableﲛand listenﲜand obeyﲝand spendﲞ(it is) betterﲟﲠfor yourselvesﲡAnd whoeverﲢis savedﲣ(from the) greedinessﲤ(of) his soulﲥthen thoseﲦ[they]ﲧ(are) the successful onesﲨ(16)
So be mindful of Allah to the best of your ability, hear and obey, and spend in charity—that will be best for you. And whoever is saved from the selfishness of their own souls, it is they who are ˹truly˺ successful.
64:17
ﲩIfﲪyou loanﲫ(to) Allahﲬa loanﲭgoodlyﲮHe will multiply itﲯfor youﲰand will forgiveﲱﲲyouﲳAnd Allahﲴ(is) Most AppreciativeﲵMost Forbearingﲶ(17)
If you lend to Allah a good loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. For Allah is Most Appreciative, Most Forbearing.
64:18
ﲷ(The) Knowerﲸ(of) the unseenﲹand the witnessedﲺthe All-Mightyﲻthe All-Wiseﲼ(18)
˹He is the˺ Knower of the seen and unseen—the Almighty, All-Wise.
