ﱁFor the menﱂa portionﱃof whatﱄ(is) leftﱅ(by) the parentsﱆand the near relativesﱇand for the womenﱈa portionﱉof whatﱊ(is) leftﱋ(by) parentsﱌand the near relativesﱍof whatﱎ(is) littleﱏof itﱐorﱑﱒmuch ﱓa portionﱔobligatoryﱕ
For men there is a share in what their parents and close relatives leave, and for women there is a share in what their parents and close relatives leave—whether it is little or much. ˹These are˺ obligatory shares.

ﱖAnd whenﱗpresentﱘ(at) the (time of) divisionﱙ(of)ﱚthe relativesﱛand the orphansﱜand the poorﱝthen provide themﱞfrom itﱟand speakﱠto themﱡwordsﱢ(of) kindnessﱣ
If ˹non-inheriting˺ relatives, orphans, or the needy are present at the time of distribution, offer them a ˹small˺ provision from it and speak to them kindly.

ﱤAnd let fear ﱥthose whoﱦifﱧthey leftﱨfromﱩbehindﱪoffspringﱫweakﱬ(and) they would have fearedﱭabout themﱮSo let them fearﱯAllahﱰand let them speakﱱwordsﱲappropriateﱳ
Let the guardians be as concerned ˹for the orphans˺ as they would if they were to ˹die and˺ leave ˹their own˺ helpless children behind. So let them be mindful of Allah and speak equitably.

ﱴIndeedﱵthose whoﱶconsumeﱷwealthﱸ(of) the orphansﱹwrongfullyﱺonlyﱻthey consumeﱼinﱽtheir belliesﱾﱿfireﲀand they will be burnedﲁ(in) a Blazing Fireﲂ
Indeed, those who unjustly consume orphans’ wealth ˹in fact˺ consume nothing but fire into their bellies. And they will be burned in a blazing Hell!

ﲃInstructs youﲄAllahﲅconcerningﲆﲇyour children ﲈfor the maleﲉlikeﲊ(the) portionﲋﲌ(of) two femalesﲍBut ifﲎthere areﲏ(only) womenﲐmore (than)ﲑtwoﲒthen for themﲓtwo thirdsﲔ(of) whatﲕﲖhe leftﲗAnd ifﲘ(there) isﲙ(only) oneﲚthen for herﲛﲜ(is) halfﲝAnd for his parentsﲞfor eachﲟoneﲠof themﲡa sixthﲢof whatﲣ(is) leftﲤifﲥisﲦfor himﲧﲨa childﲩBut ifﲪnotﲫisﲬfor himﲭany childﲮand inherit[ed] himﲯhis parentsﲰthen for his motherﲱﲲ(is) one thirdﲳAnd ifﲴareﲵfor himﲶbrothers and sistersﲷthen for his motherﲸﲹ(is) the sixthﲺfromﲻafterﲼany willﲽhe has madeﲾ[of which]ﲿorﳀﳁany debtﳂYour parentsﳃand your children ﳄnotﳅyou knowﳆwhich of themﳇ(is) nearerﳈto youﳉﳊ(in) benefitﳋAn obligationﳌfromﳍﳎAllahﳏIndeedﳐAllahﳑisﳒAll-KnowingﳓAll-Wiseﳔ
Allah commands you regarding your children: the share of the male will be twice that of the female. If you leave only two ˹or more˺ females, their share is two-thirds of the estate. But if there is only one female, her share will be one-half. Each parent is entitled to one-sixth if you leave offspring. But if you are childless and your parents are the only heirs, then your mother will receive one-third. But if you leave siblings, then your mother will receive one-sixth—after the fulfilment of bequests and debts. ˹Be fair to˺ your parents and children, as you do not ˹fully˺ know who is more beneficial to you. ˹This is˺ an obligation from Allah. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
