Al-Mu'minun
The Believers
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
ﱁIndeedﱂsuccessfulﱃ(are) the believersﱄ
Successful indeed are the believers:
- Reflections
ﱅThose whoﱆ[they]ﱇduringﱈtheir prayersﱉ(are) humbly submissiveﱊ
those who humble themselves in prayer;
- Reflections
ﱋThose whoﱌ[they]ﱍfromﱎthe vain talkﱏturn awayﱐ
those who avoid idle talk;
- Reflections
ﱑThose whoﱒ[they]ﱓof purification worksﱔ(are) doersﱕ
those who pay alms-tax;
- Reflections
ﱖAnd those whoﱗ[they]ﱘof their modestyﱙ(are) guardiansﱚ
those who guard their chastity
- Reflections
ﱛExceptﱜfromﱝtheir spousesﱞorﱟwhatﱠpossessﱡtheir right handsﱢthen indeed, theyﱣ(are) notﱤblameworthyﱥ
except with their wives or those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, for then they are free from blame,
- Reflections
ﱦThen whoeverﱧseeksﱨbeyondﱩthatﱪthen thoseﱫ[they]ﱬ(are) the transgressorsﱭ
but whoever seeks beyond that are the transgressors;
- Reflections
ﱮAnd those whoﱯ[they]ﱰof their trustsﱱand their promise(s)ﱲ(are) observersﱳ
˹the believers are also˺ those who are true to their trusts and covenants;
- Reflections
ﱴAnd those whoﱵ[they]ﱶoverﱷtheir prayersﱸthey guardﱹ
and those who are ˹properly˺ observant of their prayers.
- Reflections
ﱺThoseﱻ[they]ﱼ(are) the inheritorsﱽ
These are the ones who will be awarded
- Reflections
ﱾWhoﱿwill inheritﲀthe ParadiseﲁTheyﲂthereinﲃ(will) abide foreverﲄ
Paradise as their own. They will be there forever.
- Reflections
ﲅAnd indeedﲆWe createdﲇthe humankindﲈfromﲉan essenceﲊofﲋclayﲌ
And indeed, We created humankind from an extract of clay,
- Reflections
ﲍThenﲎWe placed himﲏ(as) a semen-dropﲐinﲑa resting placeﲒfirmﲓ
then placed each ˹human˺ as a sperm-drop in a secure place,
- Reflections
ﲔThenﲕWe createdﲖthe semen-dropﲗ(into) a clinging substanceﲘthen We createdﲙthe clinging substanceﲚ(into) an embryonic lumpﲛthen We createdﲜthe embryonic lumpﲝ(into) bonesﲞthen We clothedﲟthe bonesﲠ(with) fleshﲡthenﲢWe produce itﲣ(as) a creationﲤﲥanotherﲦSo blessed isﲧAllahﲨ(the) Bestﲩ(of) the Creatorsﲪ
then We developed the drop into a clinging clot, then developed the clot into a lump ˹of flesh˺, then developed the lump into bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, then We brought it into being as a new creation. So Blessed is Allah, the Best of Creators.

ﲫThenﲬindeed, youﲭafterﲮthatﲯsurely (will) dieﲰ
After that you will surely die,
- Reflections
ﲱThenﲲindeed, youﲳ(on the) Dayﲴ(of) the Resurrectionﲵwill be resurrectedﲶ
then on the Day of Judgment you will be resurrected.
- Reflections
ﲷAnd indeedﲸWe (have) createdﲹabove youﲺsevenﲻpathsﲼand notﲽWe areﲾofﲿthe creationﳀunawareﳁ
And indeed, We created above you seven levels ˹of heaven˺. We are never unmindful of ˹Our˺ creation.
