ﱁLikewiseﱂnotﱃcameﱄ(to) thoseﱅbefore themﱆbefore themﱇanyﱈMessengerﱉbutﱊthey saidﱋA magicianﱌorﱍa madmanﱎ
Similarly, no messenger came to those before them without being told: “A magician or a madman!”

ﱏHave they transmitted it to themﱐﱑHave they transmitted it to themﱒNayﱓtheyﱔ(are) a peopleﱕtransgressingﱖ
Have they passed this ˹cliché˺ down to one another? In fact, they have ˹all˺ been a transgressing people.

ﱗSo turn awayﱘfrom themﱙfor notﱚyouﱛ(are) to be blamedﱜ
So ˹now˺ turn away from them ˹O Prophet˺, for you will not be blamed.

ﱝAnd remindﱞfor indeedﱟthe reminderﱠbenefitsﱡthe believersﱢ
But ˹continue to˺ remind. For certainly reminders benefit the believers.

ﱣAnd notﱤI have createdﱥthe jinnﱦand the mankindﱧexceptﱨthat they worship Meﱩ
I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me.

ﱪNotﱫI wantﱬfrom themﱭanyﱮprovisionﱯand notﱰI wantﱱthatﱲthey (should) feed Meﱳ
I seek no provision from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.

ﱴIndeedﱵAllahﱶHeﱷ(is) the All-ProviderﱸPossessorﱹ(of) Powerﱺthe Strongﱻ
Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ is the Supreme Provider—Lord of all Power, Ever Mighty.

ﱼSo indeedﱽfor those whoﱾdo wrongﱿ(is) a portionﲀlikeﲁ(the) portionﲂ(of) their companionsﲃso let them not ask Me to hastenﲄso let them not ask Me to hastenﲅ
The wrongdoers will certainly have a share ˹of the torment˺ like that of their predecessors. So do not let them ask Me to hasten ˹it˺.

ﲆThen woeﲇto those whoﲈdisbelieveﲉfromﲊtheir Dayﲋwhichﲌthey are promisedﲍ
Woe then to the disbelievers when they face their Day which they are warned of!

The Mount
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
ﲎBy the Mountﲏ
By Mount Ṭûr!
- Reflections
ﲐAnd by (the) Bookﲑwrittenﲒ
And by the Book written
- Reflections
ﲓInﲔparchmentﲕunrolledﲖ
on open pages ˹for all to read˺!
- Reflections
ﲗBy the Houseﲘfrequentedﲙ
And by the ˹Sacred˺ House frequently visited!

ﲚBy the roofﲛraised highﲜ
And by the canopy raised ˹high˺!

ﲝBy the seaﲞfilledﲟ
And by the seas set on fire!
- Reflections
ﲠIndeedﲡ(the) punishmentﲢ(of) your Lordﲣ(will) surely occurﲤ
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will come to pass—

ﲥNotﲦfor itﲧanyﲨpreventerﲩ
none will avert it—
- Reflections
ﲪ(On the) Dayﲫwill shakeﲬthe heavenﲭ(with violent) shakeﲮ
on the Day the heavens will be shaken violently,
- Reflections
ﲯAnd will move awayﲰthe mountainsﲱ(with an awful) movementﲲ
and the mountains will be blown away entirely.

ﲳThen woeﲴthat Dayﲵto the deniersﲶ
Then woe on that Day to the deniers—
- Reflections
ﲷWhoﲸ[they]ﲹinﲺ(vain) discourseﲻare playingﲼ
those who amuse themselves with falsehood!

ﲽ(The) Dayﲾthey will be thrustﲿ(in)toﳀ(the) Fireﳁ(of) Hellﳂ(with) a thrustﳃ
˹It is˺ the Day they will be fiercely shoved into the Fire of Hell.

ﳄThisﳅ(is) the Fireﳆwhichﳇyou used toﳈ[of it]ﳉdenyﳊ
˹They will be told,˺ “This is the Fire which you used to deny.
