ﱁThen We will ease himﱂtowards [the] difficultyﱃ
We will facilitate for them the path of hardship.

ﱄAnd notﱅwill availﱆhimﱇhis wealthﱈwhenﱉhe fallsﱊ
And their wealth will be of no benefit to them when they tumble ˹into Hell˺.

ﱋIndeedﱌupon Usﱍ(is) the guidanceﱎ
It is certainly upon Us ˹alone˺ to show ˹the way to˺ guidance.
- Reflections
ﱏAnd indeedﱐfor Usﱑ(is) the Hereafterﱒand the first (life)ﱓ
And surely to Us ˹alone˺ belong this life and the next.
- Reflections
ﱔSo I warn youﱕ(of) a Fireﱖblazingﱗ
And so I have warned you of a raging Fire,
- Reflections
ﱘNotﱙwill burn (in) itﱚexceptﱛthe most wretchedﱜ
in which none will burn except the most wretched—
- Reflections
ﱝThe one whoﱞdeniedﱟand turned awayﱠ
who deny and turn away.
- Reflections
ﱡBut will be removed from itﱢthe righteousﱣ
But the righteous will be spared from it—
- Reflections
ﱤThe one whoﱥgivesﱦhis wealthﱧ(to) purify himselfﱨ
who donate ˹some of˺ their wealth only to purify themselves,
- Reflections
ﱩAnd notﱪfor anyoneﱫwith himﱬanyﱭfavorﱮto be recompensedﱯ
not in return for someone’s favours,
- Reflections
ﱰExceptﱱseekingﱲ(the) Countenanceﱳ(of) his Lordﱴthe Most Highﱵ
but seeking the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High.
- Reflections
ﱶAnd soon, surelyﱷhe will be pleasedﱸ
They will certainly be pleased.

Ad-Duhaa
The Morning Hours
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
ﱹBy the morning brightnessﱺ
By the morning sunlight,
- Reflections
ﱻAnd the nightﱼwhenﱽit covers with darknessﱾ
and the night when it falls still!
- Reflections
ﱿNotﲀhas forsaken youﲁyour Lordﲂand notﲃHe is displeasedﲄ
Your Lord ˹O Prophet˺ has not abandoned you, nor has He become hateful ˹of you˺.
- Reflections
ﲅAnd surely the Hereafterﲆ(is) betterﲇfor youﲈthanﲉthe firstﲊ
And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one.
- Reflections
ﲋAnd soonﲌwill give youﲍyour Lordﲎthen you will be satisfiedﲏ
And ˹surely˺ your Lord will give so much to you that you will be pleased.
- Reflections
ﲐDid notﲑHe find youﲒan orphanﲓand give shelterﲔ
Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you?
- Reflections
ﲕAnd He found youﲖlostﲗso He guidedﲘ
Did He not find you unguided then guided you?
- Reflections
ﲙAnd He found youﲚin needﲛso He made self-sufficientﲜ
And did He not find you needy then satisfied your needs?
- Reflections
ﲝSo as forﲞthe orphanﲟthen (do) notﲠoppressﲡ
So do not oppress the orphan,
- Reflections
ﲢAnd as forﲣone who asksﲤthen (do) notﲥrepelﲦ
nor repulse the beggar.
- Reflections
ﲧBut as forﲨ(the) Favorﲩ(of) your Lordﲪnarrateﲫ
And proclaim the blessings of your Lord.

Ash-Sharh
The Relief
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
ﲬHave notﲭWe expandedﲮfor youﲯyour breastﲰ
Have We not uplifted your heart for you ˹O Prophet˺,

ﲱAnd We removedﲲfrom youﲳyour burdenﲴ
relieved you of the burden
