5:65

ﱁAnd ifﱂthatﱃ(the) Peopleﱄ(of) the Bookﱅ(had) believedﱆand feared (Allah)ﱇsurely We (would have) removedﱈfrom themﱉtheir evil (deeds)ﱊand surely We (would have) admitted themﱋ(to) Gardensﱌ(of) Blissﱍ(65)

Had the People of the Book only been faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺, We would have certainly absolved them of their sins and admitted them into the Gardens of Bliss.

5:66

ﱎAnd ifﱏthat theyﱐhad stood firmlyﱑ(by) the Tauratﱒand the Injeelﱓand whatﱔwas revealedﱕto themﱖfromﱗtheir Lordﱘsurely they (would have) eatenﱙfromﱚabove themﱛand fromﱜbeneathﱝﱞtheir feetﱟAmong themﱠ(is) a communityﱡﱢmoderateﱣbut manyﱤof them ﱥevilﱦ(is) whatﱧthey doﱨ(66)

And had they observed the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have been overwhelmed with provisions from above and below. Some among them are upright, yet many do nothing but evil.

5:67

ﱩ ﱪOﱫMessengerﱬConveyﱭwhatﱮhas been revealedﱯto youﱰfromﱱﱲyour Lordﱳand ifﱴnotﱵyou doﱶthen notﱷyou (have) conveyedﱸﱹHis MessageﱺAnd Allahﱻwill protect youﱼfromﱽﱾthe peopleﱿIndeedﲀAllahﲁ(does) notﲂguideﲃthe peopleﲄthe disbelievingﲅ(67)

O Messenger! Convey everything revealed to you from your Lord. If you do not, then you have not delivered His message. Allah will ˹certainly˺ protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the people who disbelieve.

5:68

ﲆSayﲇO Peopleﲈ(of) the BookﲉYou are notﲊonﲋanythingﲌuntilﲍyou stand firmlyﲎ(by) the Tauratﲏand the Injeelﲐand whatﲑhas been revealedﲒto youﲓfromﲔﲕyour LordﲖAnd surely increaseﲗmanyﲘof themﲙwhatﲚhas been revealedﲛto youﲜfromﲝyour Lordﲞ(in) rebellionﲟﲠand disbeliefﲡSo (do) notﲢgrieveﲣoverﲤthe peopleﲥthe disbelievingﲦ(68)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O People of the Book! You have nothing to stand on unless you observe the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord.” And your Lord’s revelation to you ˹O Prophet˺ will only cause many of them to increase in wickedness and disbelief. So do not grieve for the people who disbelieve.

5:69

ﲧIndeedﲨthose whoﲩbelievedﲪand those whoﲫbecame Jewsﲬand the Sabiansﲭand the Christiansﲮwhoeverﲯbelievedﲰin Allahﲱand the Dayﲲthe Lastﲳand didﲴgood deedsﲵthen noﲶfearﲷon themﲸand notﲹtheyﲺwill grieveﲻ(69)

Indeed, the believers, Jews, Sabians1 and Christians—whoever ˹truly˺ believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good, there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.

5:70

ﲼCertainlyﲽWe tookﲾa Covenantﲿ(from the) Childrenﳀ(of) Israelﳁand We sentﳂto themﳃﳄMessengersﳅWheneverﳆcame to themﳇany Messengerﳈwith whatﳉnotﳊdesiredﳋtheir soulsﳌa groupﳍthey deniedﳎand a groupﳏthey killﳐ(70)

Indeed, We took a covenant from the Children of Israel and sent them messengers. Whenever a messenger came to them with what they did not desire, they denied some and killed others.
