5:91

ﱁOnlyﱂintendsﱃthe Shaitaanﱄtoﱅcauseﱆbetween youﱇ[the] enmityﱈand [the] hatredﱉthroughﱊintoxicantsﱋand gamblingﱌand hinders youﱍfromﱎ(the) remembranceﱏ(of) Allahﱐand fromﱑﱒthe prayerﱓSo willﱔyouﱕ(be) the ones who abstainﱖ(91)

Satan’s plan is to stir up hostility and hatred between you with intoxicants and gambling and to prevent you from remembering Allah and praying. Will you not then abstain?

5:92

ﱗAnd obeyﱘAllahﱙand obeyﱚthe Messengerﱛﱜand bewareﱝAnd ifﱞyou turn awayﱟthen knowﱠonlyﱡuponﱢOur Messengerﱣ(is to) convey (the Message)ﱤclearlyﱥ(92)

Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and beware! But if you turn away, then know that Our Messenger’s duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺ clearly.

5:93

ﱦNotﱧonﱨthose whoﱩbelieveﱪand doﱫthe good deedsﱬany sinﱭfor whatﱮthey ateﱯwhenﱰthatﱱthey fear (Allah)ﱲand they believeﱳand they doﱴ[the] good deedsﱵthenﱶthey fear (Allah)ﱷand believeﱸthenﱹthey fear (Allah)ﱺﱻand do goodﱼand Allahﱽlovesﱾthe good-doersﱿ(93)

There is no blame on those who believe and do good for what they had consumed before ˹the prohibition˺, as long as they fear Allah, have faith, and do what is good; then they believe and act virtuously, then become fully mindful ˹of Allah˺ and do righteous deeds. For Allah loves the good-doers.

5:94

ﲀO youﲁwhoﲂbelieveﲃSurely will test youﲄAllahﲅthrough somethingﲆofﲇthe game ﲈcan reach itﲉyour handsﲊand your spearsﲋthat may make evidentﲌAllahﲍwhoﲎfears Himﲏﲐin the unseenﲑAnd whoeverﲒtransgressedﲓafterﲔthatﲕthen for himﲖ(is) a punishmentﲗpainfulﲘ(94)

O believers! Allah will surely test you with game within the reach of your hands and spears to distinguish those who fear Him in secret. Whoever transgresses from now on will suffer a painful punishment.

5:95

ﲙO youﲚwhoﲛbelieveﲜ(Do) notﲝkillﲞthe gameﲟwhile youﲠﲡ(are in) IhramﲢAnd whoeverﲣkilled itﲤamong youﲥintentionallyﲦthen penaltyﲧ(is) similarﲨ(to) whatﲩhe killedﲪofﲫthe cattleﲬjudgingﲭitﲮtwo menﲯjustﲰamong youﲱ(as) an offeringﲲreachingﲳthe Kabahﲴorﲵan expiation ﲶfeedingﲷneedy peopleﲸorﲹequivalentﲺ(of) thatﲻ(in) fastingﲼthat he may tasteﲽ(the) consequenceﲾﲿ(of) his deedﳀPardonedﳁ(by) Allahﳂwhatﳃﳄ(has) passedﳅbut whoeverﳆreturnedﳇthen will take retributionﳈAllahﳉﳊfrom himﳋAnd Allahﳌ(is) All-MightyﳍOwnerﳎ(of) Retributionﳏ(95)

O  believers! Do not kill game while on pilgrimage. Whoever kills game intentionally must compensate by offering its equivalence—as judged by two just men among you—to be offered at the Sacred House, or by feeding the needy, or by fasting so that they may taste the consequences of their violations. Allah has forgiven what has been done. But those who persist will be punished by Allah. And Allah is Almighty, capable of punishment.
