5:96

ﱁIs made lawfulﱂfor youﱃgameﱄ(of) the seaﱅand its foodﱆ(as) provisionﱇfor youﱈﱉand for the travelersﱊand is made unlawfulﱋon youﱌgameﱍ(of) the landﱎasﱏlong as youﱐﱑ(are in) IhramﱒAnd be consciousﱓ(of) Allahﱔthe Oneﱕto Himﱖyou will be gatheredﱗ(96)

It is lawful for you to hunt and eat seafood, as a provision for you and for travellers. But hunting on land is forbidden to you while on pilgrimage. Be mindful of Allah to Whom you all will be gathered.

5:97

ﱘ ﱙHas (been) madeﱚ(by) Allahﱛthe Kabahﱜthe Houseﱝthe Sacredﱞan establishmentﱟfor mankindﱠand the month(s)ﱡ[the] sacredﱢand the (animals) for offeringﱣﱤand the garlandsﱥThat (is)ﱦso that you may knowﱧthatﱨAllahﱩknowsﱪwhatﱫ(is) inﱬthe heavensﱭand whatﱮ(is) inﱯthe earthﱰand thatﱱAllahﱲof everyﱳthingﱴ(is) All-Knowingﱵ(97)

Allah has made the Ka’bah—the Sacred House—a sanctuary of well-being for all people, along with the sacred months, the sacrificial animals, and the ˹offerings decorated with˺ garlands. All this so you may know that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and that He has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of everything.

5:98

ﱶKnowﱷthatﱸAllahﱹ(is) severeﱺ(in) punishmentﱻand thatﱼAllahﱽ(is) Oft-ForgivingﱾMost Mercifulﱿ(98)

Know that Allah is severe in punishment and that He is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

5:99

ﲀNotﲁonﲂthe Messengerﲃexceptﲄﲅthe conveyanceﲆAnd Allahﲇknowsﲈwhatﲉyou revealﲊand whatﲋyou concealﲌ(99)

The Messenger’s duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺. And Allah ˹fully˺ knows what you reveal and what you conceal.

5:100

ﲍSayﲎNotﲏ(are) equalﲐthe evilﲑand the goodﲒeven ifﲓimpresses youﲔabundanceﲕﲖ(of) the evilﲗSo fearﲘAllahﲙO menﲚ(of) understandingﲛso that you mayﲜ(be) successfulﲝ(100)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Good and evil are not equal, though you may be dazzled by the abundance of evil. So be mindful of Allah, O  people of reason, so you may be successful.”

5:101

ﲞO youﲟwhoﲠbelieveﲡ(Do) notﲢaskﲣaboutﲤthingsﲥifﲦmade clearﲧto youﲨit may distress youﲩand ifﲪyou askﲫabout itﲬwhenﲭis being revealedﲮthe Quranﲯit would be made clearﲰto youﲱhas (been) pardonedﲲ(by) Allahﲳﲴ[about] itﲵand Allahﲶ(is) Oft-ForgivingﲷAll-Forbearingﲸ(101)

O believers! Do not ask about any matter which, if made clear to you, may disturb you. But if you inquire about what is being revealed in the Quran, it will be made clear to you. Allah has forgiven what was done ˹in the past˺.1 And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.

5:102

ﲹIndeedﲺasked themﲻa peopleﲼfromﲽbefore youﲾthenﲿthey becameﳀtherebyﳁdisbelieversﳂ(102)

Some people before you asked such questions then denied their answers.

5:103

ﳃNotﳄhas (been) madeﳅ(by) Allahﳆofﳇa Bahirahﳈand notﳉa Saibahﳊand notﳋa Wasilahﳌand notﳍa Hamiﳎ[And] butﳏthose whoﳐdisbelievedﳑthey inventﳒagainstﳓAllahﳔﳕthe lieﳖand most of themﳗ(do) notﳘuse reasonﳙ(103)

Allah has never ordained the ˹so-called˺ baḥîrah, sâ'ibah, waṣîlah, and ḥâm camels.1 But the disbelievers2 just fabricate lies about Allah, and most of them lack understanding.
