7:58

ﱁAnd the land ﱂ[the] pureﱃcomes forthﱄits vegetationﱅby (the) permissionﱆﱇ(of) its Lordﱈbut whichﱉis bad ﱊ(does) notﱋcome forthﱌexceptﱍﱎ(with) difficultyﱏThusﱐWe explainﱑthe Signsﱒfor a peopleﱓwho are gratefulﱔ(58)

The fertile land produces abundantly by the Will of its Lord, whereas the infertile land hardly produces anything. This is how We vary ˹Our˺ lessons to those who are thankful.

7:59

ﱕCertainlyﱖWe sentﱗNuhﱘtoﱙhis peopleﱚand he saidﱛO my peopleﱜWorshipﱝAllahﱞnotﱟfor youﱠanyﱡgodﱢother than HimﱣIndeed, Iﱤ[I] fearﱥfor youﱦpunishmentﱧ(of the) DayﱨGreatﱩ(59)

Indeed, We sent Noah to his people. He said, “O my people! Worship Allah—you have no other god except Him. I truly fear for you the torment of a tremendous Day.”

7:60

ﱪSaidﱫthe chiefsﱬofﱭhis peopleﱮIndeed, weﱯsurely see youﱰinﱱerrorﱲclearﱳ(60)

But the chiefs of his people said, “We surely see that you are clearly misguided.”

7:61

ﱴHe saidﱵO my peopleﱶThere is notﱷin meﱸerrorﱹbut I amﱺa Messengerﱻfromﱼ(the) Lordﱽ(of) the worldsﱾ(61)

He replied, “O my people! I am not misguided! But I am a messenger from the Lord of all worlds,

7:62

ﱿI convey to youﲀthe Messagesﲁ(of) my Lordﲂand [I] adviseﲃ[to] youﲄand I knowﲅfromﲆAllahﲇwhatﲈnotﲉyou knowﲊ(62)

conveying to you my Lord’s messages and giving you ˹sincere˺ advice. And I know from Allah what you do not know.

7:63

ﲋDo you wonderﲌthatﲍhas come to youﲎa reminderﲏfromﲐyour Lordﲑonﲒa manﲓamong youﲔthat he may warn youﲕand that you may fearﲖand so that you mayﲗreceive mercyﲘ(63)

Do you find it astonishing that a reminder should come to you from your Lord through one of your own, warning you, so you may beware and perhaps be shown mercy?”

7:64

ﲙBut they denied himﲚso We saved himﲛand those whoﲜ(were) with himﲝinﲞthe shipﲟAnd We drownedﲠthose whoﲡdeniedﲢﲣOur VersesﲤIndeed, theyﲥwereﲦa peopleﲧblindﲨ(64)

But they rejected him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were certainly a blind people.

7:65

ﲩ ﲪAnd toﲫAadﲬ(We sent) their brotherﲭﲮHudﲯHe saidﲰO my peopleﲱWorshipﲲAllahﲳnotﲴfor youﲵanyﲶgodﲷﲸother than HimﲹThen will notﲺyou fear (Allah)ﲻ(65)

And to the people of ’Âd We sent their brother Hûd. He said, “O my people! Worship Allah—you have no other god except Him. Will you not then fear Him?”

7:66

ﲼSaidﲽthe chiefsﲾ(of) those whoﲿdisbelievedﳀfromﳁhis peopleﳂIndeed, weﳃsurely, see youﳄinﳅfoolishnessﳆand indeed, weﳇ[we] think youﳈ(are) ofﳉthe liarsﳊ(66)

The disbelieving chiefs of his people responded, “We surely see you as a fool, and we certainly think you are a liar.”

7:67

ﳋHe saidﳌO my peopleﳍThere is notﳎin meﳏfoolishnessﳐbut I amﳑa Messengerﳒfromﳓ(the) Lordﳔ(of) the worldsﳕ(67)

Hûd replied, “O my people! I am no fool! But I am a messenger from the Lord of all worlds,
