10:7

ﱁIndeedﱂthose whoﱃ(do) notﱄexpectﱅthe meeting with Usﱆand are pleasedﱇwith the lifeﱈ(of) the worldﱉand feel satisfiedﱊwith itﱋand those ﱌtheyﱍ(are) ofﱎOur Signsﱏheedlessﱐ(7)

Indeed, those who do not expect to meet Us, being pleased and content with this worldly life, and who are heedless of Our signs,

10:8

ﱑThose ﱒtheir abodeﱓ(will be) the Fireﱔfor whatﱕthey used (to)ﱖearnﱗ(8)

they will have the Fire as a home because of what they have committed.

10:9

ﱘIndeedﱙthose whoﱚbelievedﱛand didﱜgood deedsﱝ(will) guide themﱞtheir Lordﱟﱠby their faithﱡWill flowﱢfromﱣunderneath themﱤthe riversﱥinﱦGardensﱧ(of) Delightﱨ(9)

Surely those who believe and do good, their Lord will guide them ˹to Paradise˺ through their faith, rivers will flow under their feet in the Gardens of Bliss,

10:10

ﱩTheir prayerﱪthereinﱫ(will be), "Glory be to YouﱬO AllahﱭAnd their greetingﱮtherein (will be)ﱯﱰPeaceﱱAnd the lastﱲ(of) their callﱳ(will be) [that]ﱴAll the Praise beﱵto AllahﱶLordﱷ(of) the worldsﱸ(10)

in which their prayer will be, “Glory be to You, O  Allah!” and their greeting will be, “Peace!” and their closing prayer will be, “All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds!”

10:11

ﱹ ﱺAnd ifﱻhastensﱼ(by) Allahﱽfor the mankindﱾthe evilﱿ(as) He hastens for themﲀthe goodﲁsurely, would have been decreedﲂfor themﲃﲄtheir termﲅBut We leaveﲆthose whoﲇ(do) notﲈexpectﲉthe meeting with Usﲊinﲋtheir transgressionﲌwandering blindlyﲍ(11)

If Allah were to hasten evil for people1 as they wish to hasten good, they would have certainly been doomed. But We leave those who do not expect to meet Us to wander blindly in their defiance.

10:12

ﲎAnd whenﲏtouchesﲐthe manﲑthe afflictionﲒhe calls Usﲓ(lying) on his sideﲔorﲕsittingﲖorﲗstandingﲘBut whenﲙWe removeﲚfrom himﲛhis afflictionﲜhe passes onﲝas if heﲞ(had) notﲟcalled Usﲠforﲡ(the) afflictionﲢﲣ(that) touched himﲤThusﲥ(it) is made fair seemingﲦto the extravagantﲧwhatﲨthey used (to)ﲩdoﲪ(12)

Whenever someone is touched by hardship, they cry out to Us, whether lying on their side, sitting, or standing. But when We relieve their hardship, they return to their old ways as if they had never cried to Us to remove any hardship! This is how the misdeeds of the transgressors have been made appealing to them.

10:13

ﲫAnd verilyﲬWe destroyedﲭthe generationsﲮbefore youﲯbefore youﲰwhenﲱthey wrongedﲲand came to themﲳtheir Messengersﲴwith clear proofsﲵbut notﲶthey wereﲷﲸto believeﲹThusﲺWe recompenseﲻthe peopleﲼ(who are) criminalsﲽ(13)

We surely destroyed ˹other˺ peoples before you when they did wrong, and their messengers came to them with clear proofs but they would not believe! This is how We reward the wicked people.

10:14

ﲾThenﲿWe made youﳀsuccessorsﳁinﳂthe earthﳃafter themﳄafter themﳅso that We may seeﳆhowﳇyou doﳈ(14)

Then We made you their successors in the land to see how you would act.
