ﱁHe saidﱂVerilyﱃhas been answeredﱄ(the) invocation of both of youﱅSo you two (keep to the) straight wayﱆAnd (do) notﱇfollowﱈ(the) wayﱉ(of) those whoﱊ(do) notﱋknowﱌ(89)
Allah responded ˹to Moses and Aaron˺,1 “Your prayer is answered! So be steadfast and do not follow the way of those who do not know.”
10:90
ﱍ ﱎAnd We took acrossﱏ(the) Childrenﱐ(of) Israel ﱑthe seaﱒand followed themﱓFiraunﱔand his hostsﱕ(in) rebellionﱖﱗand enmityﱘuntilﱙwhenﱚovertook himﱛthe drowningﱜhe saidﱝI believeﱞthatﱟ(there is) noﱠgodﱡexceptﱢthe Oneﱣin Whom believeﱤin Whom believeﱥthe Children of Israelﱦthe Children of Israelﱧand I amﱨofﱩthe Muslimsﱪ(90)
We brought the Children of Israel across the sea. Then Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them unjustly and oppressively. But as Pharaoh was drowning, he cried out, “I believe that there is no god except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am ˹now˺ one of those who submit.”
10:91
ﱫNowﱬAnd verilyﱭyou (had) disobeyedﱮbeforeﱯand you wereﱰofﱱthe corruptersﱲ(91)
˹He was told,˺ “Now ˹you believe˺? But you always disobeyed and were one of the corruptors.
10:92
ﱳSo todayﱴWe will save youﱵin your bodyﱶthat you may beﱷfor (those) whoﱸsucceed youﱹﱺa signﱻAnd indeedﱼmanyﱽamongﱾthe mankindﱿofﲀOur Signsﲁ(are) surely heedlessﲂ(92)
Today We will preserve your corpse so that you may become an example1 for those who come after you. And surely most people are heedless of Our examples!”
10:93
ﲃAnd verilyﲄWe settledﲅ(the) Childrenﲆ(of) Israelﲇ(in) a settlementﲈhonorableﲉand We provided themﲊwithﲋthe good thingsﲌand notﲍthey differﲎuntilﲏcame to themﲐﲑthe knowledgeﲒIndeedﲓyour Lordﲔwill judgeﲕbetween themﲖ(on) the Dayﲗ(of) the Resurrectionﲘconcerning whatﲙthey used (to)ﲚ[in it]ﲛdifferﲜ(93)
Indeed, We settled the Children of Israel in a blessed land,1 and granted them good, lawful provisions. They did not differ until knowledge came to them.2 Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment regarding their differences.
10:94
ﲝSo ifﲞyou areﲟinﲠdoubtﲡof whatﲢWe have revealedﲣto youﲤthen askﲥthose whoﲦ(have been) readingﲧthe Bookﲨbefore youﲩﲪbefore youﲫVerilyﲬhas come to youﲭthe truthﲮfromﲯyour Lordﲰso (do) notﲱbeﲲamongﲳthe doubtersﲴ(94)
If you ˹O Prophet˺ are in doubt about ˹these stories˺ that We have revealed to you, then ask those who read the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of those who doubt,
10:95
ﲵAnd (do) notﲶbeﲷofﲸthose whoﲹdenyﲺ(the) Signs of Allahﲻ(the) Signs of Allahﲼthen you will beﲽamongﲾthe losersﲿ(95)
and do not be one of those who deny Allah’s signs or you will be one of the losers.1
10:96
ﳀIndeedﳁthose [whom]ﳂhas become dueﳃon themﳄ(the) Wordﳅ(of) your Lordﳆwill notﳇbelieveﳈ(96)
Indeed, those against whom your Lord’s decree ˹of torment˺ is justified will not believe—
10:97
ﳉEven ifﳊcomes to themﳋeveryﳌSignﳍuntilﳎthey seeﳏthe punishment ﳐthe painfulﳑ(97)
even if every sign were to come to them—until they see the painful punishment.
