2:146

ﱁ(To) those whomﱂWe gave [them]ﱃthe Bookﱄthey recognize itﱅlikeﱆthey recognizeﱇﱈtheir sonsﱉAnd indeedﱊa groupﱋof themﱌsurely they concealﱍthe Truthﱎwhile theyﱏknowﱐ(146)

Those We have given the Scripture recognize this ˹Prophet˺ as they recognize their own children. Yet a group of them hides the truth knowingly.

2:147

ﱑThe Truthﱒ(is) fromﱓyour Lordﱔso (do) notﱕbeﱖamongﱗthe doubtersﱘ(147)

˹This is˺ the truth from your Lord, so do not ever be one of those who doubt.

2:148

ﱙAnd for everyoneﱚ(is) a direction ﱛheﱜﱝturns towards itﱞso raceﱟﱠ(to) the goodﱡWhereverﱢthatﱣyou will beﱤwill bringﱥyouﱦ(by) AllahﱧﱨtogetherﱩIndeedﱪAllahﱫ(is) onﱬeveryﱭthingﱮAll-Powerfulﱯ(148)

Everyone turns to their own direction ˹of prayer˺. So compete with one another in doing good. Wherever you are, Allah will bring you all together ˹for judgment˺. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything.

2:149

ﱰAnd fromﱱwhereverﱲyou start forthﱳ[so] turnﱴyour faceﱵ(in the) directionﱶ(of) Al-MasjidﱷﱸAl-HaraamﱹAnd indeed, itﱺ(is) surely the truthﱻfromﱼﱽyour LordﱾAnd notﱿ(is) Allahﲀunawareﲁof whatﲂyou doﲃ(149)

Wherever you are ˹O Prophet˺, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque. This is certainly the truth from your Lord. And Allah is never unaware of what you ˹all˺ do.

2:150

ﲄAnd fromﲅwhereverﲆyou start forthﲇ[so] turnﲈyour faceﲉ(in the) directionﲊ(of) Al-MasjidﲋﲌAl-HaraamﲍAnd whereverﲎthatﲏyou (all) areﲐ[so] turnﲑyour facesﲒ(in) its directionﲓso that notﲔwill beﲕfor the peopleﲖagainst youﲗany argumentﲘexceptﲙthose whoﲚwrongedﲛamong themﲜso (do) notﲝfear themﲞbut fear MeﲟAnd that I completeﲠMy favorﲡupon youﲢ[and] so that you mayﲣ(be) guidedﲤ(150)

Wherever you are ˹O Prophet˺, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque. And wherever you ˹believers˺ are, face towards it, so that people will have no argument against you, except the wrongdoers among them. Do not fear them; fear Me, so that I may ˹continue to˺ perfect My favour upon you and so you may be ˹rightly˺ guided.

2:151

ﲥAsﲦWe sentﲧamong youﲨa Messengerﲩfrom youﲪ(who) recitesﲫto youﲬOur versesﲭand purifies youﲮand teaches youﲯthe Bookﲰand the wisdomﲱand teaches youﲲwhatﲳnotﲴyou wereﲵknowingﲶ(151)

Since We have sent you a messenger from among yourselves—reciting to you Our revelations, purifying you, teaching you the Book and wisdom, and teaching you what you never knew—

2:152

ﲷSo remember MeﲸI will remember youﲹand be gratefulﲺto Meﲻand (do) notﲼ(be) ungrateful to Meﲽ(152)

remember Me; I will remember you. And thank Me, and never be ungrateful.

2:153

ﲾO youﲿwhoﳀbelieve[d]ﳁSeek helpﳂthrough patienceﳃﳄand the prayerﳅIndeedﳆAllahﳇ(is) withﳈthe patient onesﳉ(153)

O believers! Seek comfort in patience and prayer. Allah is truly with those who are patient.
