11:89

ﱁAnd O my peopleﱂ(Let) not cause you to sinﱃ(Let) not cause you to sinﱄmy dissensionﱅlestﱆbefalls youﱇsimilarﱈ(to) whatﱉbefellﱊ(the) people of Nuhﱋ(the) people of Nuhﱌorﱍ(the) people of Hudﱎ(the) people of Hudﱏorﱐpeople of Salihﱑﱒpeople of SalihﱓAnd notﱔ(are the) people of Lutﱕ(are the) people of Lutﱖfrom youﱗfar offﱘ(89)

O  my people! Do not let your opposition to me lead you to a fate similar to that of the people of Noah, or Hûd, or Ṣâliḥ. And the people of Lot are not far from you.1

11:90

ﱙAnd ask forgivenessﱚ(of) your Lordﱛthenﱜturn in repentanceﱝﱞto HimﱟIndeedﱠmy Lordﱡ(is) Most MercifulﱢMost Lovingﱣ(90)

So seek your Lord’s forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance. Surely my Lord is Most Merciful, All-Loving.”

11:91

ﱤThey saidﱥO ShuaibﱦNotﱧwe understandﱨmuchﱩof whatﱪyou sayﱫand indeed, weﱬsurely [we] see youﱭamong usﱮﱯweakﱰAnd if notﱱfor your familyﱲﱳsurely we would have stoned youﱴand you are notﱵand you are notﱶagainst usﱷmightyﱸ(91)

They threatened, “O Shu’aib! We do not comprehend much of what you say, and surely we see you powerless among us. Were it not for your clan, we would have certainly stoned you, for you are nothing to us.”

11:92

ﱹHe saidﱺO my peopleﱻIs my familyﱼmightierﱽon youﱾthanﱿAllahﲀAnd you have taken Himﲁbehind yourﲂﲃbacksﲄIndeedﲅmy Lordﲆof whatﲇyou doﲈ(is) All-Encompassingﲉ(92)

He said, “O my people! Do you have more regard for my clan than for Allah, turning your back on Him entirely? Surely my Lord is Fully Aware of what you do.

11:93

ﲊAnd O my peopleﲋWorkﲌ(according) toﲍyour positionﲎindeed, I amﲏﲐworkingﲑSoonﲒyou will knowﲓ(on) whomﲔwill comeﲕa punishmentﲖ(that will) disgrace himﲗand whoﲘ[he]ﲙﲚ(is) a liarﲛAnd watchﲜindeed, I amﲝwith youﲞa watcherﲟ(93)

O  my people! Persist in your ways, for I ˹too˺ will persist in mine. You will soon come to know who will be visited by a humiliating torment and is a liar! And watch! I too am watching with you!”

11:94

ﲠAnd whenﲡcameﲢOur CommandﲣWe savedﲤShuaibﲥand those whoﲦbelievedﲧwith himﲨby a Mercyﲩfrom UsﲪAnd seizedﲫthose whoﲬwrongedﲭthe thunderous blastﲮthen they becameﲯinﲰtheir homesﲱfallen proneﲲ(94)

When Our command came, We saved Shu’aib and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us. And the ˹mighty˺ blast overtook the wrongdoers, so they fell lifeless in their homes,

11:95

ﲳAs ifﲴnotﲵthey (had) prosperedﲶﲷthereinﲸSoﲹawayﲺwith Madyanﲻasﲼwas taken awayﲽthe Thamudﲾ(95)

as if they had never lived there. So away with Midian as it was with Thamûd!

11:96

ﲿAnd certainlyﳀWe sentﳁMusaﳂwith Our Signsﳃand an authorityﳄclearﳅ(96)

Indeed, We sent Moses with Our signs and compelling proof

11:97

ﳆToﳇFiraunﳈand his chiefsﳉbut they followedﳊ(the) command of Firaunﳋﳌ(the) command of Firaunﳍand notﳎ(the) command of Firaunﳏ(the) command of Firaunﳐwas rightﳑ(97)

to Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they followed the command of Pharaoh, and Pharaoh’s command was not well guided.
