15:32

ﱁHe saidﱂO IblisﱃWhatﱄ(is) for youﱅthat notﱆyou areﱇwithﱈthose who prostratedﱉ(32)

Allah asked, “O Iblîs! What is the matter with you that you did not join others in prostration?”

15:33

ﱊHe saidﱋI am notﱌI am notﱍ(one) to prostrateﱎto a humanﱏwhom You createdﱐ(out) ofﱑclayﱒfromﱓblack mudﱔalteredﱕ(33)

He replied, “It is not for me to prostrate to a human You created from sounding clay moulded from black mud.”

15:34

ﱖHe saidﱗThen get outﱘof itﱙfor indeed, youﱚ(are) expelledﱛ(34)

Allah commanded, “Then get out of Paradise, for you are truly cursed.

15:35

ﱜAnd indeedﱝupon youﱞ(will be) the curseﱟtillﱠ(the) Dayﱡ(of) [the] Judgmentﱢ(35)

And surely upon you is condemnation until the Day of Judgment.”

15:36

ﱣHe saidﱤO my LordﱥThen give me respiteﱦtillﱧ(the) Dayﱨthey are raisedﱩ(36)

Satan appealed, “My Lord! Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.”

15:37

ﱪHe saidﱫThen indeed youﱬ(are) ofﱭthe ones given respiteﱮ(37)

Allah said, “You will be delayed

15:38

ﱯTillﱰthe Dayﱱ(of) the timeﱲwell-knownﱳ(38)

until the appointed Day.”

15:39

ﱴHe saidﱵMy LordﱶBecauseﱷYou misled meﱸsurely, I will make (evil) fair-seemingﱹto themﱺinﱻthe earthﱼand I will mislead themﱽallﱾ(39)

Satan responded, “My Lord! For allowing me to stray I will surely tempt them on earth and mislead them all together,

15:40

ﱿExceptﲀYour slavesﲁamong themﲂthe ones who are sincereﲃ(40)

except Your chosen servants among them.”

15:41

ﲄHe saidﲅThisﲆ(is) the wayﲇto Meﲈstraightﲉ(41)

Allah said, “This is the Way, binding on Me:

15:42

ﲊIndeedﲋMy slavesﲌnotﲍyou haveﲎover themﲏany authorityﲐexceptﲑthose whoﲒfollow youﲓofﲔthe ones who go astrayﲕ(42)

you will certainly have no authority over My servants, except the deviant who follow you,

15:43

ﲖAnd indeedﲗHellﲘ(is) surely the promised place for themﲙallﲚ(43)

and surely Hell is their destined place, all together.

15:44

ﲛFor itﲜ(are) sevenﲝgatesﲞfor eachﲟgateﲠamong themﲡ(is) a portionﲢassignedﲣ(44)

It has seven gates, to each a group of them is designated.”

15:45

ﲤIndeedﲥthe righteousﲦ(will be) inﲧGardensﲨand water springsﲩ(45)

Indeed, the righteous will be amid Gardens and springs.

15:46

ﲪEnter itﲫin peaceﲬsecureﲭ(46)

˹It will be said to them,˺ “Enter in peace and security.”

15:47

ﲮAnd We (will) removeﲯwhatﲰ(is) inﲱtheir breastsﲲofﲳrancorﲴ(they will be) brothersﲵonﲶthronesﲷfacing each otherﲸ(47)

We will remove whatever bitterness they had in their hearts.1 In a friendly manner, they will be on thrones, facing one another.

15:48

ﲹNotﲺwill touch themﲻthereinﲼfatigueﲽand notﲾtheyﲿfrom itﳀwill be removedﳁ(48)

No fatigue will touch them there, nor will they ever be asked to leave.

15:49

ﳂﳃInformﳄMy slavesﳅthat IﳆI amﳇthe Oft-Forgivingﳈthe Most Mercifulﳉ(49)

Inform My servants ˹O Prophet˺ that I am truly the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful,

15:50

ﳊAnd thatﳋMy punishmentﳌitﳍ(is) the punishmentﳎthe most painfulﳏ(50)

and that My torment is indeed the most painful.

15:51

ﳐAnd inform themﳑaboutﳒ(the) guestsﳓ(of) Ibrahimﳔ(51)

And inform them ˹O Prophet˺ about Abraham’s guests
