2:182

ﱁBut whoeverﱂfearsﱃfromﱄ(the) testatorﱅ(any) errorﱆorﱇsinﱈthen reconcilesﱉbetween themﱊthen (there is) noﱋsinﱌﱍon himﱎIndeedﱏAllahﱐ(is) Oft-ForgivingﱑAll-Mercifulﱒ(182)

Whoever suspects an error or an injustice in the will and brings about a ˹fair˺ settlement among the parties will not be sinful. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

2:183

ﱓO youﱔwhoﱕbelieve[d]ﱖIs prescribedﱗfor youﱘ[the] fastingﱙasﱚwas prescribedﱛtoﱜthoseﱝfromﱞbefore youﱟso that you mayﱠ(become) righteousﱡ(183)

O believers! Fasting is prescribed for you—as it was for those before you1—so perhaps you will become mindful ˹of Allah˺.

2:184

ﱢ(Fasting for) daysﱣﱤnumberedﱥSo whoeverﱦisﱧamong youﱨsickﱩorﱪonﱫa journeyﱬthen a prescribed numberﱭofﱮdaysﱯﱰotherﱱAnd onﱲthose whoﱳcan afford itﱴa ransomﱵ(of) feedingﱶﱷa poorﱸAnd whoeverﱹvolunteersﱺgoodﱻthen itﱼ(is) betterﱽﱾfor himﱿAnd toﲀfastﲁ(is) betterﲂfor youﲃifﲄyouﲅknowﲆ(184)

˹Fast a˺ prescribed number of days.1 But whoever of you is ill or on a journey, then ˹let them fast˺ an equal number of days ˹after Ramaḍân˺. For those who can only fast with extreme difficulty,2 compensation can be made by feeding a needy person ˹for every day not fasted˺. But whoever volunteers to give more, it is better for them. And to fast is better for you, if only you knew.

2:185

ﲇMonthﲈ(of) Ramadhaanﲉ(is) thatﲊwas revealedﲋthereinﲌthe Quranﲍa Guidanceﲎfor mankindﲏand clear proofsﲐofﲑ[the] Guidanceﲒﲓand the CriterionﲔSo whoeverﲕwitnessesﲖamong youﲗthe monthﲘﲙthen he should fast in itﲚand whoeverﲛisﲜsickﲝorﲞonﲟa journeyﲠthen prescribed number (should be made up)ﲡfromﲢdaysﲣﲤotherﲥIntendsﲦAllahﲧfor youﲨ[the] easeﲩand notﲪintendsﲫfor youﲬ[the] hardshipﲭso that you completeﲮthe prescribed periodﲯand that you magnifyﲰAllahﲱforﲲ[what]ﲳHe guided youﲴso that you mayﲵ(be) gratefulﲶ(185)

Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the decisive authority. So whoever is present this month, let them fast. But whoever is ill or on a journey, then ˹let them fast˺ an equal number of days ˹after Ramaḍân˺. Allah intends ease for you, not hardship, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.

2:186

ﲷAnd whenﲸask youﲹMy servantsﲺabout Meﲻthen indeed I amﲼﲽnearﲾI respondﲿ(to the) invocationﳀ(of) the supplicantﳁwhenﳂﳃhe calls MeﳄSo let them respondﳅto Meﳆand let them believeﳇin Meﳈso that they mayﳉ(be) led arightﳊ(186)

When My servants ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided ˹to the Right Way˺.
