2:182

But whoeverfearsfrom(the) testator(any) errororsinthen reconcilesbetween themthen (there is) nosinﱌﱍon himIndeedAllah(is) Oft-ForgivingAll-Merciful(182)

Whoever suspects an error or an injustice in the will and brings about a ˹fair˺ settlement among the parties will not be sinful. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

2:183

O youwhobelieve[d]Is prescribedfor you[the] fastingaswas prescribedtothosefrombefore youso that you may(become) righteous(183)

O believers! Fasting is prescribed for you—as it was for those before you1—so perhaps you will become mindful ˹of Allah˺.

2:184

(Fasting for) daysﱣﱤnumberedSo whoeverisamong yousickorona journeythen a prescribed numberofdaysﱯﱰotherAnd onthose whocan afford ita ransom(of) feedingﱶﱷa poorAnd whoevervolunteersgoodthen it(is) betterﱽﱾfor himﱿAnd tofast(is) betterfor youifyouknow(184)

˹Fast a˺ prescribed number of days.1 But whoever of you is ill or on a journey, then ˹let them fast˺ an equal number of days ˹after Ramaḍân˺. For those who can only fast with extreme difficulty,2 compensation can be made by feeding a needy person ˹for every day not fasted˺. But whoever volunteers to give more, it is better for them. And to fast is better for you, if only you knew.

2:185

Month(of) Ramadhaan(is) thatwas revealedthereinthe Qurana Guidancefor mankindand clear proofsof[the] Guidanceﲒﲓand the CriterionSo whoeverwitnessesamong youthe monthﲘﲙthen he should fast in itand whoeverissickorona journeythen prescribed number (should be made up)fromdaysﲣﲤotherIntendsAllahfor you[the] easeand notintendsfor you[the] hardshipso that you completethe prescribed periodand that you magnifyAllahfor[what]He guided youso that you may(be) grateful(185)

Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the decisive authority. So whoever is present this month, let them fast. But whoever is ill or on a journey, then ˹let them fast˺ an equal number of days ˹after Ramaḍân˺. Allah intends ease for you, not hardship, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.

2:186

And whenask youMy servantsabout Methen indeed I amﲼﲽnearI respondﲿ(to the) invocation(of) the supplicantwhenﳂﳃhe calls MeSo let them respondto Meand let them believein Meso that they may(be) led aright(186)

When My servants ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided ˹to the Right Way˺.
