21:73

ﱁAnd We made themﱂleadersﱃthey guideﱄby Our CommandﱅAnd We inspiredﱆto themﱇ(the) doingﱈ(of) good deedsﱉand establishmentﱊ(of) the prayerﱋand givingﱌﱍ(of) zakahﱎand they wereﱏof Usﱐworshippersﱑ(73)

We ˹also˺ made them leaders, guiding by Our command, and inspired them to do good deeds, establish prayer, and pay alms-tax. And they were devoted to Our worship.

21:74

ﱒAnd (to) LutﱓWe gave himﱔjudgmentﱕand knowledgeﱖand We saved himﱗfromﱘthe townﱙwhichﱚwasﱛdoingﱜﱝwicked deedsﱞIndeed, theyﱟwereﱠa peopleﱡevilﱢdefiantly disobedientﱣ(74)

And to Lot We gave wisdom and knowledge, and delivered him from the society engrossed in shameful practices. They were certainly an evil, rebellious people.

21:75

ﱤAnd We admitted himﱥintoﱦﱧOur MercyﱨIndeed, heﱩ(was) ofﱪthe righteousﱫ(75)

And We admitted him into Our mercy, ˹for˺ he was truly one of the righteous.

21:76

ﱬAnd Nuhﱭwhenﱮhe calledﱯbeforeﱰbeforeﱱso We respondedﱲto himﱳand We saved himﱴand his familyﱵfromﱶthe afflictionﱷ[the] greatﱸ(76)

And ˹remember˺ when Noah had cried out to Us earlier, so We responded to him and delivered him and his family1 from the great distress.

21:77

ﱹAnd We helped himﱺfromﱻthe peopleﱼwhoﱽdeniedﱾﱿOur SignsﲀIndeed, theyﲁwereﲂa peopleﲃevilﲄso We drowned themﲅallﲆ(77)

And We made him prevail over those who had rejected Our signs. They were truly an evil people, so We drowned them all.

21:78

ﲇAnd Dawudﲈand Sulaimanﲉwhenﲊthey judgedﲋconcerningﲌthe fieldﲍwhenﲎpasturedﲏin itﲐsheepﲑ(of) a peopleﲒand We wereﲓto their judgmentﲔwitnessﲕ(78)

And ˹remember˺ when David and Solomon passed judgment regarding the crops ruined ˹at night˺ by someone’s sheep, and We were witness to their judgments.

21:79

ﲖAnd We gave understanding of itﲗﲘ(to) Sulaimanﲙand (to) eachﲚWe gaveﲛjudgmentﲜﲝand knowledgeﲞAnd We subjectedﲟwithﲠDawudﲡthe mountainsﲢ(to) glorify Our praisesﲣﲤand the birdsﲥAnd We wereﲦthe Doersﲧ(79)

We guided ˹young˺ Solomon to a fairer settlement,1 and granted each of them wisdom and knowledge. We subjected the mountains as well as the birds to hymn ˹Our praises˺ along with David. It is We Who did ˹it all˺.

21:80

ﲨAnd We taught himﲩ(the) makingﲪ(of) coats of armorﲫfor youﲬto protect youﲭfromﲮﲯyour battleﲰThen willﲱyouﲲ(be) gratefulﲳ(80)

We taught him the art of making body armour to protect you in battle. Will you then be grateful?

21:81

ﲴAnd to Sulaimanﲵthe windﲶforcefullyﲷblowingﲸby his commandﲹtoﲺthe landﲻwhichﲼWe blessedﲽﲾ[in it]ﲿAnd We areﳀof everyﳁthingﳂKnowersﳃ(81)

And to Solomon We subjected the raging winds, blowing by his command to the land We had showered with blessings. It is We Who know everything.
