22:6
ﱁThatﱂ(is) becauseﱃAllah ﱄHeﱅ(is) the TruthﱆAnd that Heﱇ[He] gives lifeﱈ(to) the deadﱉand that Heﱊ(is) overﱋeveryﱌthingﱍAll-Powerfulﱎ(6)
That is because Allah ˹alone˺ is the Truth, He ˹alone˺ gives life to the dead, and He ˹alone˺ is Most Capable of everything.
22:7
ﱏAnd thatﱐthe Hourﱑwill comeﱒ(there is) noﱓdoubtﱔabout itﱕand thatﱖAllahﱗwill resurrectﱘ(those) whoﱙ(are) inﱚthe gravesﱛ(7)
And certainly the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it. And Allah will surely resurrect those in the graves.
22:8
ﱜAnd amongﱝmankindﱞ(is he) whoﱟdisputesﱠconcerningﱡAllahﱢwithoutﱣany knowledgeﱤand notﱥany guidanceﱦand notﱧa Bookﱨenlighteningﱩ(8)
˹Still˺ there are some who dispute about Allah without knowledge, guidance, or an enlightening scripture,
22:9
ﱪTwistingﱫhis neckﱬto misleadﱭfromﱮ(the) wayﱯﱰ(of) AllahﱱFor himﱲinﱳthe worldﱴﱵ(is) disgraceﱶand We will make him tasteﱷ(on the) Dayﱸ(of) Resurrectionﱹ(the) punishmentﱺ(of) the Burning Fireﱻ(9)
turning away ˹in pride˺ to lead ˹others˺ astray from Allah’s Way. They will suffer disgrace in this world, and on the Day of Judgment We will make them taste the torment of burning.
22:10
ﱼThatﱽ(is) for whatﱾhave sent forthﱿyour handsﲀand thatﲁAllahﲂis notﲃunjustﲄto His slavesﲅ(10)
˹They will be told,˺ “This is ˹the reward˺ for what your hands have done. And Allah is never unjust to ˹His˺ creation.”
22:11
ﲆAnd amongﲇthe mankindﲈ(is he) whoﲉworshipsﲊAllahﲋonﲌﲍan edgeﲎAnd ifﲏbefalls himﲐgoodﲑhe is contentﲒﲓwith itﲔand ifﲕbefalls himﲖa trialﲗhe turnsﲘonﲙhis faceﲚHe has lostﲛthe worldﲜﲝand the HereafterﲞThatﲟ[it]ﲠ(is) the lossﲡclearﲢ(11)
And there are some who worship Allah on the verge ˹of faith˺: if they are blessed with something good, they are content with it; but if they are afflicted with a trial, they relapse ˹into disbelief˺,1 losing this world and the Hereafter. That is ˹truly˺ the clearest loss.
22:12
ﲣHe callsﲤbesidesﲥbesidesﲦAllahﲧwhatﲨnotﲩharms himﲪand whatﲫnotﲬﲭbenefits himﲮThatﲯ[it]ﲰ(is) the strayingﲱfar awayﲲ(12)
They call besides Allah what can neither harm nor benefit them. That is ˹truly˺ the farthest one can stray.
22:13
ﲳHe callsﲴ(one) who ﲵhis harmﲶ(is) closerﲷthanﲸﲹhis benefitﲺSurely, an evilﲻprotectorﲼand surely an evilﲽfriendﲾ(13)
They invoke those whose worship leads to harm, not benefit. What an evil patron and what an evil associate!
22:14
ﲿIndeedﳀAllahﳁwill admitﳂthose whoﳃbelieveﳄand doﳅthe righteous deedsﳆ(to) Gardensﳇflowﳈfromﳉunderneath itﳊﳋthe riversﳌIndeedﳍAllahﳎdoesﳏwhatﳐHe intendsﳑ(14)
Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do good into Gardens, under which rivers flow. Surely Allah does what He wills.
22:15
ﳒWhoeverﳓ[is]ﳔthinksﳕthatﳖnotﳗAllah will help himﳘAllah will help himﳙinﳚthe worldﳛand the Hereafterﳜthen let him extendﳝa ropeﳞtoﳟthe skyﳠthenﳡlet him cut offﳢthen let him seeﳣwhetherﳤwill removeﳥhis planﳦwhatﳧenragesﳨ(15)
Whoever thinks that Allah will not help His Prophet in this world and the Hereafter, let them stretch out a rope to the ceiling and strangle themselves, then let them see if this plan will do away with ˹the cause of˺ their rage.1
