24:32

ﱁAnd marryﱂthe singleﱃamong youﱄand the righteousﱅamongﱆyour male slavesﱇﱈand your female slavesﱉIfﱊthey areﱋpoorﱌAllah will enrich themﱍAllah will enrich themﱎfromﱏﱐHis BountyﱑAnd Allahﱒ(is) All-EncompassingﱓAll-Knowingﱔ(32)

Marry off the ˹free˺ singles among you, as well as the righteous of your bondmen and bondwomen. If they are poor, Allah will enrich them out of His bounty. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

24:33

ﱕAnd let be chasteﱖthose whoﱗ(do) notﱘfindﱙ(means for) marriageﱚuntilﱛAllah enriches themﱜAllah enriches themﱝfromﱞﱟHis BountyﱠAnd those whoﱡseekﱢthe writingﱣfrom (those) whomﱤpossessﱥyour right handsﱦthen give them (the) writingﱧifﱨyou knowﱩin themﱪﱫany goodﱬand give themﱭfromﱮthe wealth of Allahﱯthe wealth of AllahﱰwhichﱱﱲHe has given youﱳAnd (do) notﱴcompelﱵyour slave girlsﱶtoﱷ[the] prostitutionﱸifﱹthey desireﱺchastityﱻthat you may seekﱼtemporary gainﱽ(of) the lifeﱾﱿ(of) the worldﲀAnd whoeverﲁcompels themﲂthen indeedﲃAllahﲄafterﲅafterﲆtheir compulsionﲇ(is) Oft-ForgivingﲈMost Mercifulﲉ(33)

And let those who do not have the means to marry keep themselves chaste until Allah enriches them out of His bounty. And if any of those ˹bondspeople˺ in your possession desires a contract ˹to buy their own freedom˺, make it possible for them, if you find goodness in them. And give them some of Allah’s wealth which He has granted you. Do not force your ˹slave˺ girls into prostitution for your own worldly gains while they wish to remain chaste. And if someone coerces them, then after such a coercion Allah is certainly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful ˹to them˺.

24:34

ﲊAnd verilyﲋWe have sent downﲌto youﲍVersesﲎclearﲏand an exampleﲐofﲑthose whoﲒpassed awayﲓbefore youﲔbefore youﲕand an admonitionﲖfor those who fear (Allah)ﲗ(34)

Indeed, We have sent down to you clear revelations, along with examples of those who had gone before you, and a lesson to the God-fearing.

24:35

ﲘ ﲙAllahﲚ(is the) Lightﲛ(of) the heavensﲜﲝand the earthﲞ(The) exampleﲟ(of) His Lightﲠ(is) like a nicheﲡin itﲢﲣ(is) a lampﲤthe lampﲥ(is) inﲦﲧa glassﲨthe glassﲩas if it wereﲪa starﲫbrilliantﲬ(which) is litﲭfromﲮa treeﲯblessed ﲰan oliveﲱnotﲲ(of the) eastﲳand notﲴ(of the) westﲵwould almostﲶits oilﲷglowﲸeven ifﲹnotﲺtouched itﲻﲼfireﲽLightﲾuponﲿﳀLightﳁAllah guidesﳂAllah guidesﳃto His LightﳄwhomﳅﳆHe willsﳇAnd Allah sets forthﳈAnd Allah sets forthﳉthe examplesﳊﳋfor the mankindﳌAnd Allahﳍof everyﳎthingﳏ(is) All-Knowerﳐ(35)

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light1 is like a niche in which there is a lamp, the lamp is in a crystal, the crystal is like a shining star, lit from ˹the oil of˺ a blessed olive tree, ˹located˺ neither to the east nor the west,2 whose oil would almost glow, even without being touched by fire. Light upon light! Allah guides whoever He wills to His light. And Allah sets forth parables for humanity. For Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.

24:36

ﳑInﳒhousesﳓ(which) Allah orderedﳔ(which) Allah orderedﳕthatﳖthey be raisedﳗand be mentionedﳘin themﳙHis nameﳚGlorifyﳛ[to] Himﳜin themﳝin the morningsﳞand (in) the eveningsﳟ(36)

˹That light shines˺ through houses ˹of worship˺ which Allah has ordered to be raised, and where His Name is mentioned. He is glorified there morning and evening
