24:28

But ifnotyou findin itanyonethen (do) notenter ituntilpermission has been givenﱊﱋto youAnd ifit is saidto youGo backﱐﱑthen go backit(is) purerﱔﱕfor youAnd Allahof whatyou do(is) All-Knower(28)

If you find no one at home, do not enter it until you have been given permission. And if you are asked to leave, then leave. That is purer for you. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of what you do.

24:29

Notupon you(is) any blamethatyou enterhousesnotinhabitedin it(is) a provisionﱥﱦfor youAnd Allahknowswhatyou revealand whatyou conceal(29)

There is no blame on you if you enter public places1 where there is something of benefit for you. And Allah knows what you reveal and what you conceal.

24:30

Sayto the believing menthey should lowertheir gazetheir gazeand they should guardﱴﱵtheir chastityThat(is) purerﱸﱹfor themIndeedAllah(is) All-Awareof whatthey doﱿ(30)

˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

24:31

And sayto the believing women(that) they should lower[of]their gazeand they should guardtheir chastityand not(to) displaytheir adornmentexceptwhatis apparentﲍﲎof itAnd let them drawtheir head coversoverﲒﲓtheir bosomsand not(to) displaytheir adornmentexceptto their husbandsortheir fathersorfathers(of) their husbandsortheir sonsorsons(of) their husbandsortheir brothersorsons(of) their brothersorsons(of) their sistersortheir womenorwhatpossesstheir right handsorthe attendantshaving no physical desirehaving no physical desirehaving no physical desireamong[the] menor[the] childrenwho(are) notawareofprivate aspectsﲿﳀ(of) the womenAnd notlet them stamptheir feetto make knownwhatthey concealofﳈﳉtheir adornmentAnd turntoAllahaltogetherO believersO believersSo that you maysucceed(31)

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments1 except what normally appears.2 Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their ˹hidden˺ adornments3 except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O  believers, so that you may be successful.
