27:89

ﱁWhoeverﱂcomesﱃwith the goodﱄthen for himﱅ(will be) betterﱆthan itﱇand theyﱈfromﱉ(the) terrorﱊ(of) that Dayﱋ(will be) safeﱌ(89)

Whoever comes with a good deed will be rewarded with what is better, and they will be secure from the horror on that Day.

27:90

ﱍAnd whoeverﱎcomesﱏwith the evilﱐwill be cast downﱑtheir facesﱒinﱓthe FireﱔAreﱕyou recompensedﱖexceptﱗ(for) whatﱘyou used (to)ﱙdoﱚ(90)

And whoever comes with an evil deed will be hurled face-first into the Fire. Are you rewarded except for what you used to do?

27:91

ﱛOnlyﱜI am commandedﱝthatﱞI worshipﱟ(the) Lordﱠ(of) thisﱡcityﱢthe One Whoﱣmade it sacredﱤand to Him (belongs)ﱥallﱦﱧthingsﱨAnd I am commandedﱩthatﱪI beﱫofﱬthe Muslimsﱭ(91)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city ˹of Mecca˺, Who has made it sacred, and to Him belongs everything. And I am commanded to be one of those who ˹fully˺ submit ˹to Him˺,

27:92

ﱮAnd thatﱯI reciteﱰﱱthe QuranﱲAnd whoeverﱳaccepts guidanceﱴthen onlyﱵhe accepts guidanceﱶﱷfor himselfﱸand whoeverﱹgoes astrayﱺthen sayﱻOnlyﱼI amﱽofﱾthe warnersﱿ(92)

and to recite the Quran.” Then whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. But whoever chooses to stray, say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I am only a warner.”

27:93

ﲀAnd sayﲁAll praise (be)ﲂto AllahﲃHe will show youﲄHis Signsﲅﲆand you will recognize themﲇAnd your Lord is notﲈAnd your Lord is notﲉunawareﲊof whatﲋyou doﲌ(93)

And say, “All praise is for Allah! He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is never unaware of what you do.”

28:1

ﲍTa Seem Meemﲎ(1)

Ṭâ-Sĩn-Mĩm.

28:2

ﲏTheseﲐ(are the) Versesﲑ(of) the Bookﲒthe clearﲓ(2)

These are the verses of the clear Book.

28:3

ﲔWe reciteﲕto youﲖfromﲗ(the) newsﲘ(of) Musaﲙand Firaunﲚin truthﲛfor a peopleﲜwho believeﲝ(3)

We narrate to you ˹O Prophet˺ part of the story of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for people who believe.

28:4

ﲞIndeedﲟFiraunﲠexalted himselfﲡinﲢthe landﲣand madeﲤits peopleﲥ(into) sectsﲦoppressingﲧa groupﲨamong themﲩslaughteringﲪtheir sonsﲫand letting liveﲬﲭtheir womenﲮIndeed, heﲯwasﲰofﲱthe corruptersﲲ(4)

Indeed, Pharaoh ˹arrogantly˺ elevated himself in the land and divided its people into ˹subservient˺ groups, one of which he persecuted, slaughtering their sons and keeping their women. He was truly one of the corruptors.

28:5

ﲳAnd We wantedﲴtoﲵbestow a favorﲶuponﲷthose whoﲸwere oppressedﲹinﲺthe landﲻand make themﲼleadersﲽand make themﲾthe inheritorsﲿ(5)

But it was Our Will to favour those who were oppressed in the land, making them models ˹of faith˺ as well as successors;
