29:7
ﱁAnd those whoﱂbelieveﱃand doﱄrighteous (deeds)ﱅsurely, We will removeﱆfrom themﱇtheir evil deedsﱈand We will surely reward themﱉ(the) bestﱊ(of) whatﱋthey usedﱌ(to) doﱍ(7)
As for those who believe and do good, We will certainly absolve them of their sins, and reward them according to the best of what they used to do.
29:8
ﱎAnd We have enjoinedﱏ(on) manﱐgoodness to his parentsﱑﱒgoodness to his parentsﱓbut ifﱔthey both strive against youﱕto make you associateﱖwith Meﱗwhatﱘnotﱙyou haveﱚof itﱛany knowledgeﱜthen (do) notﱝﱞobey both of themﱟTo Meﱠ(is) your returnﱡand I will inform youﱢabout whatﱣyou usedﱤ(to) doﱥ(8)
We have commanded people to honour their parents. But if they urge you to associate with Me what you have no knowledge of,1 then do not obey them. To Me you will ˹all˺ return, and then I will inform you of what you used to do.
29:9
ﱦAnd those whoﱧbelieveﱨand doﱩrighteous deedsﱪWe will surely admit themﱫamongﱬthe righteousﱭ(9)
Those who believe and do good will surely be admitted by Us into ˹the company of˺ the righteous.
29:10
ﱮAnd ofﱯthe peopleﱰ(is he) whoﱱsaysﱲWe believeﱳin AllahﱴBut whenﱵhe is harmedﱶinﱷ(the Way of) Allahﱸhe considersﱹ(the) trialﱺ(of) the peopleﱻas (the) punishmentﱼﱽ(of) AllahﱾBut ifﱿcomesﲀvictoryﲁfromﲂyour Lordﲃsurely they sayﲄIndeed, weﲅwereﲆﲇwith youﲈIs notﲉAllahﲊmost knowingﲋof whatﲌ(is) inﲍ(the) breastsﲎ(of) the worldsﲏ(10)
There are some who say, “We believe in Allah,” but when they suffer in the cause of Allah, they mistake ˹this˺ persecution at the hands of people for the punishment of Allah. But when victory comes from your Lord, they surely say ˹to the believers˺, “We have always been with you.” Does Allah not know best what is in the hearts of all beings?
29:11
ﲐAnd Allah will surely make evidentﲑAnd Allah will surely make evidentﲒthose whoﲓbelieveﲔAnd He will surely make evidentﲕthe hypocritesﲖ(11)
Allah will certainly distinguish between those who have ˹sure˺ faith and the hypocrites.
29:12
ﲗAnd saidﲘthose whoﲙdisbelieveﲚto those whoﲛbelieveﲜFollowﲝour wayﲞand we will carryﲟyour sinsﲠBut notﲡtheyﲢ(are) going to carryﲣofﲤtheir sinsﲥanyﲦﲧthingﲨIndeed, theyﲩ(are) surely liarsﲪ(12)
The disbelievers say to the believers, “˹Just˺ follow our way, and we will bear ˹the burden of˺ your sins.” But they would never ˹want to˺ bear any of the believers’ sins. They are simply lying.
29:13
ﲫBut surely they will carryﲬtheir burdensﲭand burdensﲮwithﲯﲰtheir burdensﲱand surely they will be questionedﲲ(on the) Dayﲳ(of) the Resurrectionﲴabout whatﲵthey usedﲶ(to) inventﲷ(13)
Yet they will certainly ˹be made to˺ carry their own burdens, as well as other burdens along with their own.1 And they will surely be questioned on Judgment Day about what they used to fabricate.
29:14
ﲸAnd verilyﲹWe sentﲺNuhﲻtoﲼhis peopleﲽand he remainedﲾamong themﲿa thousandﳀyear(s)ﳁsaveﳂfiftyﳃyear(s)ﳄthen seized themﳅthe floodﳆwhile theyﳇ(were) wrongdoersﳈ(14)
Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them for a thousand years, less fifty. Then the Flood overtook them, while they persisted in wrongdoing.
