29:53

ﱁAnd they ask you to hastenﱂ[with] the punishmentﱃAnd if notﱄ(for) a termﱅappointedﱆsurely (would) have come to themﱇﱈthe punishmentﱉBut it will surely come to themﱊsuddenlyﱋwhile theyﱌ(do) notﱍperceiveﱎ(53)

They challenge you ˹O Prophet˺ to hasten the punishment. Had it not been for a time already set, the punishment would have certainly come to them ˹at once˺. But it will definitely take them by surprise when they least expect it.

29:54

ﱏThey ask you to hastenﱐthe punishmentﱑAnd indeedﱒHellﱓwill surely, encompassﱔthe disbelieversﱕ(54)

They urge you to hasten the punishment. And Hell will certainly encompass the disbelievers

29:55

ﱖOn (the) Dayﱗwill cover themﱘthe punishmentﱙfromﱚabove themﱛand fromﱜbelowﱝtheir feetﱞand He will sayﱟTasteﱠwhatﱡyou usedﱢ(to) doﱣ(55)

on the Day the punishment will overwhelm them from above them and from below their feet. And it will be said, “Reap what you sowed.”

29:56

ﱤO My servantsﱥwhoﱦbelieveﱧIndeedﱨMy earthﱩ(is) spaciousﱪso onlyﱫworship Meﱬ(56)

O My believing servants! My earth is truly spacious, so worship Me ˹alone˺.

29:57

ﱭEveryﱮsoulﱯ(will) tasteﱰﱱthe deathﱲThenﱳto Usﱴyou will be returnedﱵ(57)

Every soul will taste death, then to Us you will ˹all˺ be returned.

29:58

ﱶAnd those whoﱷbelieveﱸand doﱹ[the] righteous deedsﱺsurely We will give them a placeﱻinﱼParadiseﱽlofty dwellingsﱾflowﱿfromﲀunderneath itﲁthe riversﲂwill abide foreverﲃﲄin itﲅExcellent isﲆ(the) rewardﲇ(of) the workersﲈ(58)

˹As for˺ those who believe and do good, We will certainly house them in ˹elevated˺ mansions in Paradise, under which rivers flow, to stay there forever. How excellent is the reward for those who work ˹righteousness!˺—

29:59

ﲉThose whoﲊ(are) patientﲋand uponﲌtheir Lordﲍput their trustﲎ(59)

those who patiently endure, and put their trust in their Lord!

29:60

ﲏAnd how manyﲐofﲑa creatureﲒ(does) notﲓcarryﲔits provisionﲕAllahﲖprovides (for) itﲗﲘand (for) youﲙAnd Heﲚ(is) the All-Hearerﲛthe All-Knowerﲜ(60)

How many are the creatures that cannot secure their provisions! ˹It is˺ Allah ˹Who˺ provides for them and you ˹as well˺. He is indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

29:61

ﲝAnd ifﲞyou ask themﲟWhoﲠcreatedﲡthe heavensﲢand the earthﲣand subjectedﲤthe sunﲥand the moonﲦSurely they would sayﲧﲨAllahﲩThen howﲪare they deludedﲫ(61)

If you ask them ˹O Prophet˺ who created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon ˹for your benefit˺, they will certainly say, “Allah!” How can they then be deluded ˹from the truth˺?

29:62

ﲬAllahﲭextendsﲮthe provisionﲯfor whomﲰHe willsﲱofﲲHis slavesﲳand restrictsﲴﲵfor himﲶIndeedﲷAllahﲸof everyﲹthingﲺ(is) All-Knowerﲻ(62)

Allah gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills of His servants. Surely Allah has ˹full˺ knowledge of everything.

29:63

ﲼAnd ifﲽyou ask themﲾWhoﲿsends downﳀfromﳁthe skyﳂwaterﳃand gives lifeﳄtherebyﳅ(to) the earthﳆafterﳇafterﳈits deathﳉSurely, they would sayﳊﳋAllahﳌSayﳍAll Praisesﳎﳏ(are) for AllahﳐButﳑmost of themﳒ(do) notﳓuse reasonﳔ(63)

And if you ask them who sends down rain from the sky, giving life to the earth after its death, they will surely say, “Allah!” Say, “Praise be to Allah!” In fact, most of them do not understand.
