33:44

ﱁTheir greetingsﱂ(on the) Dayﱃthey will meet Himﱄﱅ(will be), "Peaceﱆand He has preparedﱇfor themﱈa rewardﱉnobleﱊ(44)

Their greeting on the Day they meet Him will be, “Peace!” And He has prepared for them an honourable reward.

33:45

ﱋO ProphetﱌO ProphetﱍIndeed, Weﱎhave sent youﱏ(as) a witnessﱐand a bearer of glad tidingsﱑand (as) a warnerﱒ(45)

O Prophet! We have sent you as a witness, and a deliverer of good news, and a warner,

33:46

ﱓAnd as one who invitesﱔtoﱕAllahﱖby His permissionﱗand (as) a lampﱘilluminatingﱙ(46)

and a caller to ˹the Way of˺ Allah by His command, and a beacon of light.

33:47

ﱚAnd give glad tidingsﱛ(to) the believersﱜthatﱝfor themﱞ(is) fromﱟAllahﱠa Bountyﱡgreatﱢ(47)

Give good news to the believers that they will have a great bounty from Allah.

33:48

ﱣAnd (do) notﱤobeyﱥthe disbelieversﱦand the hypocritesﱧand disregardﱨtheir harmﱩand put your trustﱪinﱫﱬAllahﱭAnd sufficient is AllahﱮAnd sufficient is Allahﱯ(as) a Trusteeﱰ(48)

Do not yield to the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Overlook their annoyances, and put your trust in Allah. For Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs.

33:49

ﱱO you who believeﱲO you who believeﱳO you who believeﱴWhenﱵyou marryﱶbelieving womenﱷand thenﱸdivorce themﱹbeforeﱺbeforeﱻ[that]ﱼyou have touched themﱽthen notﱾfor youﱿon themﲀanyﲁwaiting periodﲂﲃ(to) count concerning themﲄSo provide for themﲅand release themﲆ(with) a releaseﲇgoodﲈ(49)

O believers! If you marry believing women and then divorce them before you touch them,1 they will have no waiting period for you to count,2 so give them a ˹suitable˺ compensation, and let them go graciously.

33:50

ﲉO ProphetﲊO ProphetﲋIndeed, Weﲌ[We] have made lawfulﲍto youﲎyour wivesﲏ(to) whomﲐyou have givenﲑtheir bridal moneyﲒand whomﲓyou rightfully possessﲔyou rightfully possessﲕfrom those (whom)ﲖAllah has givenﲗAllah has givenﲘto youﲙand (the) daughtersﲚ(of) your paternal unclesﲛand (the) daughtersﲜ(of) your paternal auntsﲝand (the) daughtersﲞ(of) your maternal unclesﲟand (the) daughtersﲠ(of) your maternal auntsﲡwhoﲢemigratedﲣwith youﲤand a womanﲥbelievingﲦifﲧshe givesﲨherselfﲩto the Prophetﲪifﲫwishesﲬthe Prophetﲭtoﲮmarry her ﲯonlyﲰfor youﲱexcludingﲲexcludingﲳﲴthe believersﲵCertainlyﲶWe knowﲷwhatﲸWe have made obligatoryﲹupon themﲺconcerningﲻtheir wivesﲼand whomﲽthey rightfully possessﲾthey rightfully possessﲿthat notﳀshould beﳁon youﳂﳃany discomfortﳄAnd Allah isﳅAnd Allah isﳆOft-ForgivingﳇMost Mercifulﳈ(50)

O Prophet! We have made lawful for you your wives to whom you have paid their ˹full˺ dowries as well as those ˹bondwomen˺ in your possession, whom Allah has granted you.1 And ˹you are allowed to marry˺ the daughters of your paternal uncles and aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and aunts, who have emigrated like you. Also ˹allowed for marriage is˺ a believing woman who offers herself to the Prophet ˹without dowry˺ if he is interested in marrying her—˹this is˺ exclusively for you, not for the rest of the believers.2 We know well what ˹rulings˺ We have ordained for the believers in relation to their wives and those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession. As such, there would be no blame on you. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
