33:63

ﱁAsk youﱂthe peopleﱃaboutﱄﱅthe HourﱆSayﱇOnlyﱈits knowledgeﱉ(is) withﱊﱋAllahﱌAnd whatﱍwill make you knowﱎPerhapsﱏthe Hourﱐisﱑnearﱒ(63)

People ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about the Hour. Say, “That knowledge is only with Allah. You never know, perhaps the Hour is near.”

33:64

ﱓIndeedﱔAllahﱕhas cursedﱖthe disbelieversﱗand has preparedﱘfor themﱙa Blazeﱚ(64)

Surely Allah condemns the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a blazing Fire,

33:65

ﱛAbidingﱜthereinﱝﱞforeverﱟnotﱠthey will findﱡany protectorﱢand notﱣany helperﱤ(65)

to stay there for ever and ever—never will they find any protector or helper.

33:66

ﱥ(The) Dayﱦwill be turned aboutﱧtheir facesﱨinﱩthe Fireﱪthey will sayﱫO we wishﱬwe (had) obeyedﱭAllahﱮand obeyedﱯthe Messengerﱰ(66)

On the Day their faces are ˹constantly˺ flipped in the Fire, they will cry, “Oh! If only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!”

33:67

ﱱAnd they will sayﱲOur LordﱳIndeed, weﱴ[we] obeyedﱵour chiefsﱶand our great menﱷand they misled usﱸ(from) the Wayﱹ(67)

And they will say, “Our Lord! We obeyed our leaders and elite, but they led us astray from the ˹Right˺ Way.

33:68

ﱺOur LordﱻGive themﱼdoubleﱽ[of]ﱾpunishmentﱿand curse themﲀ(with) a curseﲁgreatﲂ(68)

Our Lord! Give them double ˹our˺ punishment, and condemn them tremendously.”

33:69

ﲃO you who believeﲄO you who believeﲅO you who believeﲆ(Do) notﲇbeﲈlike those whoﲉabusedﲊMusaﲋthen Allah cleared himﲌthen Allah cleared himﲍof whatﲎﲏthey saidﲐAnd he wasﲑnearﲒAllahﲓhonorableﲔ(69)

O believers! Do not be like those who slandered Moses, but Allah cleared him of what they said. And he was honourable in the sight of Allah.1

33:70

ﲕO you who believeﲖO you who believeﲗO you who believeﲘFearﲙAllahﲚand speakﲛa wordﲜrightﲝ(70)

O  believers! Be mindful of Allah, and say what is right.

33:71

ﲞHe will amendﲟfor youﲠyour deedsﲡand forgiveﲢfor youﲣﲤyour sinsﲥAnd whoeverﲦobeysﲧAllahﲨand His Messengerﲩcertainlyﲪhas attainedﲫan attainmentﲬgreatﲭ(71)

He will bless your deeds for you, and forgive your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, has truly achieved a great triumph.

33:72

ﲮIndeed, Weﲯ[We] offeredﲰthe Trustﲱtoﲲthe heavensﲳand the earthﲴand the mountainsﲵbut they refusedﲶtoﲷbear itﲸand they fearedﲹfrom itﲺbut bore itﲻﲼthe manﲽIndeed, heﲾwasﲿunjustﳀignorantﳁ(72)

Indeed, We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they ˹all˺ declined to bear it, being fearful of it. But humanity assumed it, ˹for˺ they are truly wrongful ˹to themselves˺ and ignorant ˹of the consequences˺,

33:73

ﳂSo that Allah may punishﳃSo that Allah may punishﳄthe hypocrite menﳅand the hypocrite womenﳆand the polytheist menﳇand the polytheist womenﳈand Allah will turn (in Mercy)ﳉand Allah will turn (in Mercy)ﳊtoﳋthe believing menﳌﳍand the believing womenﳎAnd Allah isﳏAnd Allah isﳐOft-ForgivingﳑMost Mercifulﳒ(73)

so that Allah will punish hypocrite men and women and polytheistic men and women, and Allah will turn in mercy to believing men and women. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.1
