35:4

ﱁAnd ifﱂthey deny youﱃthen certainlyﱄwere deniedﱅMessengersﱆbefore youﱇﱈbefore youﱉAnd toﱊAllahﱋreturnﱌthe mattersﱍ(4)

If you are rejected by them, so too were messengers before you. And to Allah ˹all˺ matters will be returned ˹for judgment˺.

35:5

ﱎOﱏmankindﱐIndeedﱑ(the) promiseﱒ(of) Allahﱓﱔ(is) trueﱕSo (let) notﱖdeceive youﱗthe lifeﱘ(of) the worldﱙand (let) notﱚdeceive youﱛabout Allahﱜthe Deceiverﱝ(5)

O humanity! Indeed, Allah’s promise is true. So do not let the life of this world deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver1 deceive you about Allah.

35:6

ﱞIndeedﱟthe Shaitaanﱠ(is) to youﱡan enemyﱢso take himﱣﱤ(as) an enemyﱥOnlyﱦhe invitesﱧhis partyﱨthat they may beﱩamongﱪ(the) companionsﱫ(of) the Blazeﱬ(6)

Surely Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only invites his followers to become inmates of the Blaze.

35:7

ﱭThose whoﱮdisbelieveﱯfor themﱰ(will be) a punishmentﱱﱲsevereﱳand thoseﱴwho believeﱵand doﱶrighteous deedsﱷfor themﱸ(will be) forgivenessﱹand a rewardﱺgreatﱻ(7)

Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment. But those who believe and do good will have forgiveness and a great reward.

35:8

ﱼThen is (he) who ﱽis made fair-seemingﱾto himﱿ(the) evilﲀ(of) his deed ﲁso that he sees itﲂﲃ(as) goodﲄFor indeedﲅAllahﲆlets go astrayﲇwhomﲈHe willsﲉand guidesﲊwhomﲋﲌHe willsﲍSo (let) notﲎgo outﲏyour soulﲐfor themﲑﲒ(in) regretsﲓIndeedﲔAllahﲕ(is) All-Knowerﲖof whatﲗthey doﲘ(8)

Are those whose evil-doing is made so appealing to them that they deem it good ˹like those who are rightly guided˺? ˹It is˺ certainly Allah ˹Who˺ leaves to stray whoever He wills, and guides whoever He wills. So do not grieve yourself to death over them ˹O Prophet˺. Surely Allah is All-Knowing of what they do.

35:9

ﲙAnd Allahﲚ(is) the One Whoﲛsendsﲜthe windsﲝso that they raiseﲞ(the) cloudsﲟand We drive themﲠtoﲡa landﲢdeadﲣand We reviveﲤtherewithﲥthe earthﲦafterﲧﲨits deathﲩThusﲪ(will be) the Resurrectionﲫ(9)

And it is Allah Who sends the winds, which then stir up ˹vapour, forming˺ clouds, and then We drive them to a lifeless land, giving life to the earth after its death. Similar is the Resurrection.

35:10

ﲬWhoeverﲭ[is] desiresﲮ[is] desiresﲯthe honorﲰthen for Allahﲱ(is) the HonorﲲﲳallﲴTo Himﲵascendsﲶthe wordsﲷgoodﲸand the deedﲹrighteousﲺﲻraises itﲼBut those whoﲽplotﲾthe evilﲿfor themﳀ(is) a punishmentﳁﳂsevereﳃand (the) plottingﳄ(of) those ﳅitﳆ(will) perishﳇ(10)

Whoever seeks honour and power, then ˹let them know that˺ all honour and power belongs to Allah. To Him ˹alone˺ good words ascend, and righteous deeds are raised up by Him. As for those who plot evil, they will suffer a severe punishment. And the plotting of such ˹people˺ is doomed ˹to fail˺.

35:11

ﳈAnd Allahﳉcreated youﳊfromﳋdustﳌthenﳍfromﳎa semen-dropﳏthenﳐHe made youﳑﳒpairsﳓAnd notﳔconceivesﳕanyﳖfemaleﳗand notﳘgives birthﳙexceptﳚﳛwith His knowledgeﳜAnd notﳝis granted lifeﳞanyﳟaged personﳠand notﳡis lessenedﳢfromﳣhis lifeﳤbutﳥ(is) inﳦﳧa RegisterﳨIndeedﳩthatﳪforﳫAllahﳬ(is) easyﳭ(11)

And ˹it is˺ Allah ˹Who˺ created you from dust,1 then ˹developed you˺ from a sperm-drop, then made you into pairs.2 No female ever conceives or delivers without His knowledge. And no one’s life is made long or cut short but is ˹written˺ in a Record.3 That is certainly easy for Allah.
