36:71

ﱁDo notﱂthey seeﱃthat Weﱄ[We] createdﱅfor themﱆfrom whatﱇhave madeﱈOur handsﱉcattleﱊthen theyﱋ[for them]ﱌ(are the) ownersﱍ(71)

Do they not see that We singlehandedly1 created for them, among other things, cattle which are under their control?

36:72

ﱎAnd We have tamed themﱏfor themﱐso some of them ﱑthey ride themﱒand some of themﱓthey eatﱔ(72)

And We have subjected these ˹animals˺ to them, so they may ride some and eat others.

36:73

ﱕAnd for themﱖthereinﱗ(are) benefitsﱘﱙand drinksﱚso (will) notﱛthey give thanksﱜ(73)

And they derive from them other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks?

36:74

ﱝBut they have takenﱞbesidesﱟbesidesﱠAllahﱡgodsﱢthat they mayﱣbe helpedﱤ(74)

Still they have taken other gods besides Allah, hoping to be helped ˹by them˺.

36:75

ﱥNotﱦthey are ableﱧto help themﱨbut they ﱩfor themﱪ(are) hostsﱫ(who will) be broughtﱬ(75)

They cannot help the pagans, even though they serve the idols as dedicated guards.1

36:76

ﱭSo (let) notﱮgrieve youﱯﱰtheir speechﱱIndeed, Weﱲ[We] knowﱳwhatﱴthey concealﱵand whatﱶthey declareﱷ(76)

So do not let their words grieve you ˹O Prophet˺. Indeed, We ˹fully˺ know what they conceal and what they reveal.

36:77

ﱸDoes notﱹseeﱺ[the] manﱻthat Weﱼ[We] created himﱽfromﱾa semen-dropﱿThen beholdﲀHeﲁ(is) an opponentﲂclearﲃ(77)

Do people not see that We have created them from a sperm-drop, then—behold!—they openly challenge ˹Us˺?

36:78

ﲄAnd he sets forthﲅfor Usﲆan exampleﲇand forgetsﲈﲉhis (own) creationﲊHe saysﲋWhoﲌwill give lifeﲍ(to) the bonesﲎwhile theyﲏ(are) decomposedﲐ(78)

And they argue with Us—forgetting they were created—saying, “Who will give life to decayed bones?”

36:79

ﲑSayﲒHe will give them lifeﲓWhoﲔproduced themﲕ(the) firstﲖﲗtimeﲘand Heﲙ(is) of everyﲚcreationﲛAll-Knowerﲜ(79)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “They will be revived by the One Who produced them the first time, for He has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of every created being.

36:80

ﲝThe One Whoﲞmadeﲟfor youﲠfromﲡthe treeﲢ[the] green ﲣfireﲤand beholdﲥYouﲦfrom itﲧigniteﲨ(80)

˹He is the One˺ Who gives you fire from green trees, and—behold!—you kindle ˹fire˺ from them.1

36:81

ﲩIs it notﲪ(He) Whoﲫcreatedﲬthe heavensﲭand the earthﲮAbleﲯtoﲰ[that]ﲱcreateﲲﲳ(the) like of themﲴYes, indeedﲵand Heﲶ(is) the Supreme Creatorﲷthe All-Knowerﲸ(81)

Can the One Who created the heavens and the earth not ˹easily˺ resurrect these ˹deniers˺?” Yes ˹He can˺! For He is the Master Creator, All-Knowing.

36:82

ﲹOnlyﲺHis CommandﲻwhenﲼHe intendsﲽa thingﲾthatﲿHe saysﳀto itﳁBeﳂand it isﳃ(82)

All it takes, when He wills something ˹to be˺, is simply to say to it: “Be!” And it is!

36:83

ﳄSo glory beﳅ(to) the One whoﳆin Whose handﳇis (the) dominionﳈ(of) allﳉthingsﳊand to Himﳋyou will be returnedﳌ(83)

So glory be to the One in Whose Hands is the authority over all things, and to Whom ˹alone˺ you will ˹all˺ be returned.
