38:84
ﱁHe saidﱂThen (it is) the truthﱃand the truthﱄI sayﱅ(84)
Allah concluded, “The truth is—and I ˹only˺ say the truth—:

Allah concluded, “The truth is—and I ˹only˺ say the truth—:
38:85
ﱆSurely I will fillﱇHellﱈwith youﱉand those whoﱊfollow youﱋamong themﱌallﱍ(85)
I will surely fill up Hell with you and whoever follows you from among them, all together.”
38:86
ﱎSayﱏNotﱐI ask of youﱑfor itﱒanyﱓpaymentﱔand notﱕI amﱖofﱗthe ones who pretendﱘ(86)
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I do not ask you for any reward for this ˹Quran˺, nor do I pretend to be someone I am not.
38:87
ﱙNotﱚit (is)ﱛexceptﱜa Reminderﱝto the worldsﱞ(87)
It is only a reminder to the whole world.
38:88
ﱟAnd surely you will knowﱠits informationﱡafterﱢa timeﱣ(88)
And you will certainly know its truth before long.”
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
39:1
ﱤ(The) revelationﱥ(of) the Bookﱦ(is) fromﱧAllahﱨthe All-Mightyﱩthe All-Wiseﱪ(1)
The revelation of this Book is from Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise.
39:2
ﱫIndeed, Weﱬ[We] have revealedﱭto youﱮthe Bookﱯin truthﱰso worshipﱱAllahﱲ(being) sincereﱳto Himﱴ(in) the religionﱵ(2)
Indeed, We have sent down the Book to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth, so worship Allah ˹alone˺, being sincerely devoted to Him.
39:3
ﱶUnquestionablyﱷfor Allahﱸ(is) the religionﱹﱺthe pureﱻAnd those whoﱼtakeﱽbesides Himﱾbesides HimﱿprotectorsﲀNotﲁwe worship themﲂexceptﲃthat they may bring us nearﲄtoﲅAllahﲆ(in) nearnessﲇIndeedﲈAllahﲉwill judgeﲊbetween themﲋinﲌwhatﲍtheyﲎ[in it]ﲏﲐdifferﲑIndeedﲒAllahﲓ(does) notﲔguideﲕ(one) whoﲖ[he]ﲗ(is) a liarﲘand a disbelieverﲙ(3)
Indeed, sincere devotion is due ˹only˺ to Allah. As for those who take other lords besides Him, ˹saying,˺ “We worship them only so they may bring us closer to Allah,” surely Allah will judge between all1 regarding what they differed about. Allah certainly does not guide whoever persists in lying and disbelief.
39:4
ﲚIfﲛAllah (had) intendedﲜAllah (had) intendedﲝtoﲞtakeﲟa sonﲠsurely, He (could) have chosenﲡfrom whatﲢHe createsﲣwhateverﲤﲥHe willedﲦﲧGlory be to HimﲨHeﲩ(is) Allahﲪthe Oneﲫthe Irresistibleﲬ(4)
Had it been Allah’s Will to have offspring, He could have chosen whatever He willed of His creation. Glory be to Him! He is Allah—the One, the Supreme.
39:5
ﲭHe createdﲮthe heavensﲯand the earthﲰﲱin [the] truthﲲHe wrapsﲳthe nightﲴoverﲵthe dayﲶand wrapsﲷthe dayﲸoverﲹﲺthe nightﲻAnd He subjectedﲼthe sunﲽﲾand the moonﲿeachﳀrunningﳁfor a termﳂﳃspecifiedﳄUnquestionablyﳅHeﳆ(is) the All-Mightyﳇthe Oft-Forgivingﳈ(5)
He created the heavens and the earth for a purpose. He wraps the night around the day, and wraps the day around the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon, each orbiting for an appointed term. He is truly the Almighty, Most Forgiving.
