40:59

ﱁIndeedﱂthe Hourﱃ(is) surely comingﱄnoﱅdoubtﱆin itﱇbutﱈmostﱉ(of) the peopleﱊ(do) notﱋbelieveﱌ(59)

The Hour is certainly coming, there is no doubt about it. But most people do not believe.

40:60

ﱍAnd saidﱎyour LordﱏCall upon MeﱐI will respondﱑﱒto youﱓIndeedﱔthose whoﱕ(are) proudﱖtoﱗworship Meﱘwill enterﱙHellﱚ(in) humiliationﱛ(60)

Your Lord has proclaimed, “Call upon Me, I will respond to you. Surely those who are too proud to worship Me will enter Hell, fully humbled.”

40:61

ﱜAllahﱝ(is) the One Whoﱞmadeﱟfor youﱠthe nightﱡthat you may restﱢin itﱣand the dayﱤﱥgiving visibilityﱦIndeedﱧAllahﱨ(is) Full (of) Bountyﱩ(is) Full (of) Bountyﱪtoﱫthe peopleﱬbutﱭmostﱮ(of) the peopleﱯ(do) notﱰgive thanksﱱ(61)

It is Allah Who has made the night for you to rest in and the day bright. Surely Allah is ever Bountiful to humanity, but most people are ungrateful.

40:62

ﱲThatﱳ(is) Allahﱴyour Lordﱵ(the) Creatorﱶ(of) allﱷthingsﱸ(there is) noﱹgodﱺexceptﱻﱼHimﱽSo howﱾare you deludedﱿ(62)

That is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. How can you then be deluded ˹from the truth˺?

40:63

ﲀThusﲁwere deludedﲂthose whoﲃwere ﲄ(the) Signsﲅ(of) Allahﲆrejectingﲇ(63)

This is how those who used to reject Allah’s signs were ˹also˺ deluded.

40:64

ﲈAllahﲉ(is) the One Whoﲊmadeﲋfor youﲌthe earthﲍa place of settlementﲎand the skyﲏa canopyﲐand He formed youﲑand perfectedﲒyour formsﲓand provided youﲔofﲕﲖthe good thingsﲗThatﲘ(is) Allahﲙﲚyour LordﲛThen blessed (is)ﲜAllahﲝ(the) Lordﲞ(of) the worldsﲟ(64)

It is Allah Who made the earth a place of settlement for you and the sky a canopy. He shaped you ˹in the womb˺, perfecting your form. And He has provided you with what is good and lawful. That is Allah—your Lord. So Blessed is Allah, Lord of all worlds.

40:65

ﲠHeﲡ(is) the Ever-Livingﲢ(there is) noﲣgodﲤbutﲥHeﲦso call Himﲧ(being) sincereﲨto Himﲩﲪ(in) the religionﲫAll praise (be)ﲬto Allahﲭ(the) Lordﲮ(of) the worldsﲯ(65)

He is the Ever-Living. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. So call upon Him with sincere devotion, ˹saying,˺ “All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds.”

40:66

ﲰ ﲱSayﲲIndeed, Iﲳ[I] have been forbiddenﲴtoﲵworshipﲶthose whomﲷyou callﲸbesidesﲹbesidesﲺAllahﲻwhenﲼhave come to meﲽthe clear proofsﲾfromﲿmy Lordﳀand I am commandedﳁtoﳂsubmitﳃto (the) Lordﳄ(of) the worldsﳅ(66)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I have been forbidden to worship those ˹idols˺ you worship besides Allah, since clear proofs have come to me from my Lord. And I have been commanded to ˹fully˺ submit to the Lord of all worlds.”
