43:74

ﱁIndeedﱂthe criminalsﱃ(will be) inﱄ(the) punishmentﱅ(of) Hellﱆabiding foreverﱇ(74)

Indeed, the wicked will be in the torment of Hell forever.

43:75

ﱈNotﱉwill it subsideﱊfor themﱋand theyﱌin itﱍ(will) despairﱎ(75)

It will never be lightened for them, and there they will be overwhelmed with despair.

43:76

ﱏAnd notﱐWe wronged themﱑbutﱒthey wereﱓthemselvesﱔwrongdoersﱕ(76)

We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers.

43:77

ﱖAnd they will callﱗO MalikﱘLet put an endﱙto usﱚﱛyour LordﱜHe (will) sayﱝIndeed, youﱞ(will) remainﱟ(77)

They will cry, “O Mâlik!1 Let your Lord finish us off.” He will answer, “You are definitely here to stay.”

43:78

ﱠCertainlyﱡWe have brought youﱢthe truthﱣbutﱤmost of youﱥto the truthﱦ(are) averseﱧ(78)

We certainly brought the truth to you, but most of you were resentful of the truth.

43:79

ﱨOrﱩhave they determinedﱪan affairﱫThen indeed, Weﱬ(are) determinedﱭ(79)

Or have they mastered some ˹evil˺ plan? Then We ˹too˺ are surely planning.

43:80

ﱮOrﱯ(do) they thinkﱰthat Weﱱ(can) notﱲhearﱳtheir secret(s)ﱴﱵand their private counsel(s)ﱶNayﱷand Our Messengersﱸwith themﱹare recordingﱺ(80)

Or do they think that We do not hear their ˹evil˺ thoughts and secret talks? Yes ˹We do˺! And Our messenger-angels are in their presence, recording ˹it all˺.

43:81

ﱻSayﱼIfﱽhadﱾthe Most Graciousﱿa sonﲀThen, Iﲁ(would be the) firstﲂ(of) the worshippersﲃ(81)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If the Most Compassionate ˹really˺ had offspring, I would be the first worshipper.”

43:82

ﲄGlory beﲅ(to the) Lordﲆ(of) the heavensﲇand the earthﲈ(the) Lordﲉ(of) the Throneﲊabove whatﲋthey ascribeﲌ(82)

Glorified is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, far above what they claim.

43:83

ﲍSo leave themﲎ(to) converse vainlyﲏand playﲐuntilﲑthey meetﲒtheir Dayﲓwhichﲔthey are promisedﲕ(83)

So let them indulge ˹in falsehood˺ and amuse ˹themselves˺ until they face their Day, which they have been warned of.

43:84

ﲖAnd Heﲗ(is) the One Whoﲘ(is) inﲙthe heaven ﲚGodﲛand inﲜthe earth ﲝﲞGodﲟAnd Heﲠ(is) the All-Wiseﲡthe All-Knowerﲢ(84)

It is He Who is ˹the only˺ God in the heavens and ˹the only˺ God on the earth. For He is the All-Wise, All-Knowing.

43:85

ﲣAnd blessed (is)ﲤthe One Who ﲥto Whomﲦ(belongs the) dominionﲧ(of) the heavensﲨand the earthﲩand whateverﲪ(is) between both of themﲫand with Himﲬ(is the) knowledgeﲭ(of) the Hourﲮand to Himﲯyou will be returnedﲰ(85)

And Blessed is the One to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in between! With Him ˹alone˺ is the knowledge of the Hour. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned.

43:86

ﲱAnd notﲲhave powerﲳthose whomﲴthey invokeﲵbesides Himﲶbesides Himﲷ(for) the intercessionﲸexceptﲹwhoﲺtestifiesﲻto the truthﲼand theyﲽknowﲾ(86)

˹But˺ those ˹objects of worship˺ they invoke besides Him have no power to intercede, except those who testify to the truth knowingly.1

43:87

ﲿAnd ifﳀyou ask themﳁwhoﳂcreated themﳃthey will certainly sayﳄﳅAllahﳆThen howﳇare they deludedﳈ(87)

If you ask them ˹O Prophet˺ who created them, they will certainly say, “Allah!” How can they then be deluded ˹from the truth˺?

43:88

ﳉAnd his sayingﳊO my LordﳋIndeedﳌtheseﳍ(are) a peopleﳎ(who do) notﳏbelieveﳐ(88)

˹Allah is Aware of˺ the Prophet’s cry: “O my Lord! Indeed, these are a people who persist in disbelief.”

43:89

ﳑSo turn awayﳒfrom themﳓand sayﳔﳕPeaceﳖBut soonﳗthey will knowﳘ(89)

So bear with them and respond with peace. They will soon come to know.
