3:23

ﱁHave notﱂyou seenﱃ[to]ﱄthose whoﱅwere givenﱆa portionﱇofﱈthe ScriptureﱉThey are invitedﱊtoﱋ(the) Bookﱌ(of) Allahﱍthat (it should) arbitrateﱎbetween themﱏthenﱐturns awayﱑa partyﱒof themﱓand they (are)ﱔthose who are averseﱕ(23)

Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scriptures?1 Yet when they are invited to the Book of Allah to settle their disputes, some of them turn away heedlessly.

3:24

ﱖThatﱗ(is) because theyﱘsayﱙNeverﱚwill touch usﱛthe Fireﱜexceptﱝ(for) daysﱞﱟnumberedﱠAnd deceived themﱡinﱢtheir religionﱣwhatﱤthey wereﱥinventingﱦ(24)

This is because they say, “The Fire will not touch us except for a few days.” They have been deceived in their faith by their wishful lying.

3:25

ﱧThen how (will it be)ﱨwhenﱩWe will gather themﱪon a Day ﱫnoﱬdoubtﱭin itﱮAnd will be paid in fullﱯeveryﱰsoulﱱwhatﱲit earnedﱳand theyﱴ(will) notﱵbe wrongedﱶ(25)

But how ˹horrible˺ will it be when We gather them together on the Day about which there is no doubt—when every soul will be paid in full for what it has done, and none will be wronged!

3:26

ﱷSayﱸO AllahﱹOwnerﱺ(of) the DominionﱻYou giveﱼthe dominionﱽ(to) whomﱾYou willﱿand You take awayﲀthe dominionﲁfrom whomﲂYou willﲃand You honorﲄwhomﲅYou willﲆand You humiliateﲇwhomﲈﲉYou willﲊIn Your handﲋﲌ(is all) the goodﲍIndeed, Youﲎ(are) onﲏeveryﲐthingﲑAll-Powerfulﲒ(26)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O Allah! Lord over all authorities! You give authority to whoever You please and remove it from who You please; You honour whoever You please and disgrace who You please—all good is in Your Hands. Surely You ˹alone˺ are Most Capable of everything.

3:27

ﲓYou cause to enterﲔthe nightﲕinﲖthe dayﲗand You cause to enterﲘthe dayﲙinﲚﲛthe nightﲜand You bring forthﲝthe livingﲞfromﲟthe deadﲠand You bring forthﲡthe deadﲢfromﲣﲤthe livingﲥand You give provisionﲦ(to) whomﲧYou willﲨwithoutﲩmeasureﲪ(27)

You cause the night to pass into the day and the day into the night. You bring forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. And You provide for whoever You will without limit.”

3:28

ﲫ(Let) notﲬtakeﲭthe believersﲮthe disbelieversﲯ(as) alliesﲰfromﲱinstead ofﲲﲳthe believersﲴAnd whoeverﲵdoesﲶthatﲷthen not he (has)ﲸfromﲹAllahﲺinﲻanythingﲼexceptﲽthatﲾyou fearﲿfrom themﳀﳁ(as) a precautionﳂAnd warns youﳃAllahﳄﳅ(of) Himselfﳆand toﳇAllahﳈ(is) the final returnﳉ(28)

Believers should not take disbelievers as guardians instead of the believers—and whoever does so will have nothing to hope for from Allah—unless it is a precaution against their tyranny. And Allah warns you about Himself. And to Allah is the final return.

3:29

ﳊSayﳋWhetherﳌyou concealﳍwhatﳎ(is) inﳏyour breastsﳐorﳑyou disclose it ﳒknows itﳓﳔAllahﳕAnd He knowsﳖwhatﳗ(is) inﳘthe heavensﳙand whatﳚ(is) inﳛﳜthe earthﳝAnd Allahﳞ(is) onﳟeveryﳠthingﳡAll-Powerfulﳢ(29)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Whether you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, it is known to Allah. For He knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.”
