3:30

(On the) daywill findeverysoulwhatit didofgood presentedand whatit didofevilit will wish[if]thatbetween itselfand between it (evil)(was) a distanceﱔﱕgreatAnd warns youAllahﱘﱙ(against) Himselfand Allah(is) Most Kindto (His) [the] slaves(30)

˹Watch for˺ the Day when every soul will be presented with whatever good it has done. And it will wish that its misdeeds were far off. And Allah warns you about Himself. And Allah is Ever Gracious to ˹His˺ servants.

3:31

SayIfyouloveAllahthen follow mewill love youAllahand He will forgivefor youﱨﱩyour sinsAnd Allah(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful(31)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

3:32

SayObeyAllahﱱﱲand the MessengerThen ifthey turn away then indeedAllah(does) notlovethe disbelievers(32)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Obey Allah and His Messenger.” If they still turn away, then truly Allah does not like the disbelievers.

3:33

ﱻ ﱼIndeedAllahchoseﱿAdamand Nuhand (the) family(of) Ibrahimand (the) family(of) Imranoverthe worlds(33)

Indeed, Allah chose Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of ’Imrân above all people ˹of their time˺.

3:34

Descendentssome of themfromﲋﲌothersAnd Allah(is) All-HearingAll-Knowing(34)

They are descendants of one another. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

3:35

When[she] said(the) wife(of) ImranMy LordIndeed, I[I] vowedto Youwhat(is) inmy wombdedicatedso acceptﲞﲟfrom meIndeed, YouYou(are) the All-Hearingthe All-Knowing(35)

˹Remember˺ when the wife of ’Imrân said, “My Lord! I dedicate what is in my womb entirely to Your service,1 so accept it from me. You ˹alone˺ are truly the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”

3:36

Then whenshe delivered hershe saidMy Lordindeed I[I] (have) delivered [her]a femaleAnd Allahknows better[of] whatshe deliveredand is notthe maleﲲﲳlike the femaleAnd that I[I] (have) named herMaryamand that I[I] seek refuge for herin Youand her offspringfromthe Shaitaanthe rejected(36)

When she delivered, she said, “My Lord! I have given birth to a girl,”—and Allah fully knew what she had delivered—“and the male is not like the female.1 I have named her Mary, and I seek Your protection for her and her offspring from Satan, the accursed.”2

3:37

ﲿSo accepted herher Lordwith acceptancegoodand reared her a rearinggoodand put her in (the) careﳇﳈ(of) ZakariyaWheneverenteredupon herZakariya[the] prayer chamberhe foundwith herﳐﳑprovisionHe saidO MaryamFrom wherefor youﳖﳗ(is) thisShe saidThis(is)fromﳜﳝAllahIndeedAllahgives provision(to) whomHe willswithoutmeasure(37)

So her Lord accepted her graciously and blessed her with a pleasant upbringing—entrusting her to the care of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah visited her in the sanctuary, he found her supplied with provisions. He exclaimed, “O Mary! Where did this come from?” She replied, “It is from Allah. Surely Allah provides for whoever He wills without limit.”
