112:1

ﱁSayﱂHeﱃ(is) Allahﱄthe Oneﱅ(1)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺;

112:2

ﱆAllahﱇthe Eternal, the Absoluteﱈ(2)

Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺.

112:3

ﱉNotﱊHe begetsﱋand notﱌHe is begottenﱍ(3)

He has never had offspring, nor was He born.

112:4

ﱎAnd notﱏisﱐfor Himﱑequivalentﱒany [one]ﱓ(4)

And there is none comparable to Him.”1

113:1

ﱔSayﱕI seek refugeﱖin (the) Lordﱗ(of) the dawnﱘ(1)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak

113:2

ﱙFromﱚ(the) evilﱛ(of) whatﱜHe createdﱝ(2)

from the evil of whatever He has created,

113:3

ﱞAnd fromﱟ(the) evilﱠ(of) darknessﱡwhenﱢit spreadsﱣ(3)

and from the evil of the night when it grows dark,

113:4

ﱤAnd fromﱥ(the) evilﱦ(of) the blowersﱧinﱨthe knotsﱩ(4)

and from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots,

113:5

ﱪAnd fromﱫ(the) evilﱬ(of) an envierﱭwhenﱮhe enviesﱯ(5)

and from the evil of an envier when they envy.”

114:1

ﱰSayﱱI seek refugeﱲin (the) Lordﱳ(of) mankindﱴ(1)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind,

114:2

ﱵ(The) Kingﱶ(of) mankindﱷ(2)

the Master of humankind,

114:3

ﱸ(The) Godﱹ(of) mankindﱺ(3)

the God of humankind,

114:4

ﱻFromﱼ(the) evilﱽ(of) the whispererﱾthe one who withdrawsﱿ(4)

from the evil of the lurking whisperer—

114:5

ﲀThe one whoﲁwhispersﲂinﲃ(the) breastsﲄ(of) mankindﲅ(5)

who whispers into the hearts of humankind—

114:6

ﲆFromﲇthe jinnﲈand menﲉ(6)

from among jinn and humankind.”
