109. Al-KafirunThe Disbelievers

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

109:1

SayOdisbelievers(1)

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O you disbelievers!

109:2

NotI worshipwhatyou worship(2)

I do not worship what you worship,

109:3

And notyou(are) worshippers(of) whatI worship(3)

nor do you worship what I worship.

109:4

And notI ama worshipper(of) whatyou worship(4)

I will never worship what you worship,

109:5

And notyou(are) worshippers(of) whatI worship(5)

nor will you ever worship what I worship.

109:6

For you(is) your religionand for me(is) my religion(6)

You have your way, and I have my Way.”

110. An-NasrThe Divine Support

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

110:1

Whencomes(the) Help(of) Allahand the Victory(1)

When Allah’s ˹ultimate˺ help comes and the victory ˹over Mecca is achieved˺,

110:2

And you seethe peopleenteringinto(the) religion(of) Allah(in) multitudes(2)

and you ˹O Prophet˺ see the people embracing Allah’s Way in crowds,

110:3

Then glorifywith (the) praises(of) your Lordﱲﱳand ask His forgivenessIndeed, HeisOft-Returning(3)

then glorify the praises of your Lord and seek His forgiveness, for certainly He is ever Accepting of Repentance.

111. Al-MasadThe Palm Fiber

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

111:1

Perish(the) hands(of) AbuLahaband perish he(1)

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, and he ˹himself˺ perish!

111:2

Notﱿ(will) availhimhis wealthand whathe earned(2)

Neither his wealth nor ˹worldly˺ gains will benefit him.

111:3

He will be burnt(in) a FireofBlazing Flames(3)

He will burn in a flaming Fire,

111:4

And his wife(the) carrier(of) firewood(4)

and ˹so will˺ his wife, the carrier of ˹thorny˺ kindling,1

111:5

Inher neck(will be) a ropeofpalm-fiber(5)

around her neck will be a rope of palm-fibre.1
