3:109

And to Allah (belongs)whatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inﱇﱈthe earthAnd toAllahwill be returnedthe matters(109)

To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Allah ˹all˺ matters will be returned ˹for judgment˺.

3:110

You are(the) best(of) peopleraisedfor the mankind enjoiningthe rightand forbidding[from]the wrongand believingﱙﱚin AllahAnd ifbelieved(the) People(of) the Booksurely would have beengoodﱡﱢfor themAmong them(are) [the] believersbut most of them(are) defiantly disobedient(110)

You are the best community ever raised for humanity—you encourage good, forbid evil, and believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book believed, it would have been better for them. Some of them are faithful, but most are rebellious.

3:111

Neverwill they harm youexceptﱫﱬa hurtAnd ifthey fight youthey will turn (towards) youthe backsthennotthey will be helped(111)

They can never inflict harm on you, except a little annoyance.1 But if they meet you in battle, they will flee and they will have no helpers.

3:112

Struckon themthe humiliationwhereverthatthey are foundexceptwith a ropefromAllahﱿand a ropefromthe peopleAnd they incurredwrathfromAllahand struckon themﲈﲉthe povertyThat(is) becausethey used todisbelievein (the) Verses(of) Allahand they killedthe ProphetswithoutﲓﲔrightThat(is) becausethey disobeyedand they used totransgress(112)

They will be stricken with disgrace wherever they go, unless they are protected by a covenant with Allah or a treaty with the people. They have invited the displeasure of Allah and have been branded with misery for rejecting Allah’s revelations and murdering ˹His˺ prophets unjustly. This is ˹a fair reward˺ for their disobedience and violations.

3:113

ﲛ ﲜThey are notﲝﲞ(the) sameamong(the) People(of) the Book(is) a communitystanding(and) reciting(the) Verses(of) Allah(in the) hours(of) the nightand theyprostrate(113)

Yet they are not all alike: there are some among the People of the Book who are upright, who recite Allah’s revelations throughout the night, prostrating ˹in prayer˺.

3:114

They believein Allahand the Daythe Lastand they enjoin[with] the rightand forbid[from]the wrongand they hasteninﲷﲸthe good deedsAnd those(are) fromthe righteous(114)

They believe in Allah and the Last Day, encourage good and forbid evil, and race with one another in doing good. They are ˹truly˺ among the righteous.

3:115

And whateverthey doﲿofa goodthen neverﳂﳃwill they be denied itAnd Allah(is) All-Knowingof the God-fearing(115)

They will never be denied the reward for any good they have done. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of those mindful ˹of Him˺.
