3:101

And how (could)you disbelievewhile [you]is recitedupon you(the) Verses(of) Allahand among youﱉﱊ(is) His MessengerAnd whoeverholds firmlyto Allahthen surelyhe is guidedtoa pathstraight(101)

How can you disbelieve when Allah’s revelations are recited to you and His Messenger is in your midst? Whoever holds firmly to Allah is surely guided to the Straight Path.

3:102

O youwhobelieve[d]FearAllah(as is His) right(that) He (should) be fearedand (do) notdieexcept[while you](as) Muslims(102)

O believers! Be mindful of Allah in the way He deserves,1 and do not die except in ˹a state of full˺ submission ˹to Him˺.2

3:103

And hold firmlyto (the) rope(of) Allahall togetherand (do) notﱦﱧbe dividedAnd remember(the) Favor(of) Allahon youwhenyou wereenemiesthen He made friendshipbetweenyour heartsthen you becameby His FavorbrothersAnd you wereon(the) brink(of) pitofthe Firethen He saved youﱼﱽfrom itThusﱿmakes clearAllahfor youHis Versesso that you may(be) guided(103)

And hold firmly together to the rope of Allah1 and do not be divided. Remember Allah’s favour upon you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts, so you—by His grace—became brothers. And you were at the brink of a fiery pit and He saved you from it. This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so that you may be ˹rightly˺ guided.

3:104

And let there beamong you[a] peopleinvitingtothe good[and] enjoiningthe rightand forbiddingfromﲐﲑthe wrongand those they(are) the successful ones(104)

Let there be a group among you who call ˹others˺ to goodness, encourage what is good, and forbid what is evil—it is they who will be successful.

3:105

And (do) notbelike those whobecame dividedand differedfromafterwhatcame to them ﲟﲠthe clear proofsAnd thosefor them(is) a punishmentgreat(105)

And do not be like those who split ˹into sects˺ and differed after clear proofs had come to them. It is they who will suffer a tremendous punishment.

3:106

(On the) Daywould become white(some) facesand would become blackﲪﲫ(some) facesAs forthose whoseturn black[their] faces Did you disbelieveafteryour beliefThen tastethe punishmentfor whatyou used todisbelieve(106)

On that Day some faces will be bright while others gloomy. To the gloomy-faced it will be said, “Did you disbelieve after having believed? So taste the punishment for your disbelief.”

3:107

But as forthose whoseturn white[their] facesthen (they will be) in(the) Mercyﲿﳀ(of) Allahtheyin it(will) abide forever(107)

As for the bright-faced, they will be in Allah’s mercy, where they will remain forever.

3:108

These(are the) Verses(of) AllahWe recite themto youﳊﳋin truthAnd notAllahwantsinjusticeto the worlds(108)

These are Allah’s revelations We recite to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth. And Allah desires no injustice to ˹His˺ creation.
