3:187

ﱁAnd whenﱂtookﱃAllahﱄa Covenantﱅ(from) those whoﱆwere givenﱇthe BookﱈYou certainly make it clearﱉto the mankindﱊand (do) notﱋconceal itﱌThen they threw itﱍbehindﱎtheir backsﱏand they exchangedﱐ[with] itﱑ(for) a priceﱒﱓlittleﱔAnd wretchedﱕ(is) whatﱖthey purchaseﱗ(187)

˹Remember, O  Prophet,˺ when Allah took the covenant of those who were given the Scripture to make it known to people and not hide it, yet they cast it behind their backs and traded it for a fleeting gain. What a miserable profit!

3:188

ﱘ(Do) notﱙthinkﱚ(that) those whoﱛrejoiceﱜin whatﱝ(they have) broughtﱞand they loveﱟthatﱠthey be praisedﱡfor whatﱢnotﱣthey do ﱤso (do) notﱥthink (that) theyﱦ(will) escapeﱧfromﱨﱩthe punishmentﱪand for themﱫ(is a) punishmentﱬpainfulﱭ(188)

Do not let those who rejoice in their misdeeds and love to take credit for what they have not done think they will escape torment. They will suffer a painful punishment.

3:189

ﱮAnd for Allahﱯ(is the) dominionﱰ(of) the heavensﱱﱲand the earthﱳand Allahﱴ(is) onﱵeveryﱶthingﱷAll-Powerfulﱸ(189)

To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.

3:190

ﱹIndeedﱺinﱻ(the) creationﱼ(of) the heavensﱽand the earthﱾand (in the) alternationﱿ(of) the nightﲀand the dayﲁ(are) surely Signsﲂfor menﲃ(of) understandingﲄ(190)

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the day and night there are signs for people of reason.

3:191

ﲅThose whoﲆrememberﲇAllahﲈstandingﲉand sittingﲊand onﲋtheir sidesﲌand they reflectﲍonﲎ(the) creationﲏ(of) the heavensﲐand the earthﲑOur LordﲒnotﲓYou have createdﲔthisﲕ(in) vainﲖGlory be to Youﲗso save usﲘ(from the) punishmentﲙ(of) the Fireﲚ(191)

˹They are˺ those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth ˹and pray˺, “Our Lord! You have not created ˹all of˺ this without purpose. Glory be to You! Protect us from the torment of the Fire.

3:192

ﲛOur Lordﲜindeed [You]ﲝwhomﲞYou admitﲟ(to) the Fireﲠthen surelyﲡﲢYou (have) disgraced himﲣand notﲤfor the wrongdoersﲥ(are) anyﲦhelpersﲧ(192)

Our Lord! Indeed, those You commit to the Fire will be ˹completely˺ disgraced! And the wrongdoers will have no helpers.

3:193

ﲨOur Lordﲩindeed weﲪ[we] heardﲫa callerﲬcallingﲭto the faithﲮthatﲯBelieveﲰin your Lordﲱﲲso we have believedﲳOur Lordﲴso forgiveﲵfor usﲶour sinsﲷand removeﲸfrom usﲹour evil deedsﲺand cause us to dieﲻwithﲼthe righteousﲽ(193)

Our Lord! We have heard the caller1 to ˹true˺ belief, ˹proclaiming,˺ ‘Believe in your Lord ˹alone˺,’ so we believed. Our Lord! Forgive our sins, absolve us of our misdeeds, and join us with the virtuous when we die‎.

3:194

ﲾOur Lordﲿgrant usﳀwhatﳁYou promised usﳂthroughﳃYour Messengersﳄand (do) notﳅdisgrace usﳆ(on the) Dayﳇﳈ(of) [the] ResurrectionﳉIndeed, Youﳊ(do) notﳋbreakﳌthe promiseﳍ(194)

Our Lord! Grant us what You have promised us through Your messengers and do not put us to shame on Judgment Day—for certainly You never fail in Your promise.”
