7:44

ﱁAnd will call outﱂ(the) companionsﱃ(of) Paradiseﱄ(to the) companionsﱅ(of) the FireﱆthatﱇIndeedﱈwe foundﱉwhatﱊ(had) promised usﱋour LordﱌtrueﱍSo haveﱎyou foundﱏwhatﱐ(was) promisedﱑ(by) your Lordﱒﱓ(to be) trueﱔThey will sayﱕﱖYesﱗThen will announceﱘan announcerﱙamong themﱚ[that]ﱛ(The) curseﱜ(of) Allahﱝ(is) onﱞthe wrongdoersﱟ(44)

The residents of Paradise will call out to the residents of the Fire, “We have certainly found our Lord’s promise to be true. Have you too found your Lord’s promise to be true?” They will reply, “Yes, we have!” Then a caller will announce to both, “May Allah’s condemnation be upon the wrongdoers,

7:45

ﱠThose whoﱡhinderﱢfromﱣ(the) wayﱤ(of) Allahﱥand seek in itﱦcrookednessﱧwhile they (are)ﱨconcerning the Hereafterﱩdisbelieversﱪ(45)

those who hindered ˹others˺ from Allah’s Way, strived to make it ˹appear˺ crooked, and disbelieved in the Hereafter.”

7:46

ﱫAnd between themﱬﱭ(will be) a partitionﱮand onﱯthe heightsﱰ(will be) menﱱrecognizingﱲallﱳﱴby their marksﱵAnd they will call outﱶ(to the) companionsﱷ(of) ParadiseﱸthatﱹPeaceﱺﱻ(be) upon youﱼNotﱽthey have entered itﱾbut theyﱿhopeﲀ(46)

There will be a barrier between Paradise and Hell. And on the heights ˹of that barrier˺ will be people1 who will recognize ˹the residents of˺ both by their appearance.2 They will call out to the residents of Paradise, “Peace be upon you!” They will have not yet entered Paradise, but eagerly hope to.

7:47

ﲁﲂAnd whenﲃare turnedﲄtheir eyesﲅtowardsﲆ(the) companionsﲇ(of) the Fireﲈthey (will) sayﲉOur Lordﲊ(Do) notﲋplace usﲌwithﲍthe people ﲎthe wrongdoersﲏ(47)

When their eyes will turn towards the residents of Hell, they will pray, “Our Lord! Do not join us with the wrongdoing people.”

7:48

ﲐAnd (will) call outﲑ(the) companionsﲒ(of) the heightsﲓ(to) menﲔwhom they recognizeﲕby their marksﲖsayingﲗNotﲘ(has) availedﲙ[to] youﲚyour gatheringﲛand whatﲜyou wereﲝarrogant (about)ﲞ(48)

Those on the heights will call out to some ˹tyrants in the Fire˺, who they will recognize by their appearance, saying, “Your large numbers and arrogance are of no use ˹today˺!

7:49

ﲟAre theseﲠthe ones whomﲡyou had swornﲢ(that) notﲣ(will) grant themﲤAllahﲥﲦMercyﲧEnterﲨParadiseﲩ(There will be) noﲪfearﲫupon youﲬand notﲭyouﲮwill grieveﲯ(49)

Are these ˹humble believers˺ the ones you swore would never be shown Allah’s mercy?” ˹Finally, those on the heights will be told:˺ “Enter Paradise! There will be no fear for you, nor will you grieve.”

7:50

ﲰAnd (will) call outﲱ(the) companionsﲲ(of) the Fireﲳ(to the) companionsﲴ(of) Paradiseﲵ[that]ﲶPourﲷupon usﲸ[of]ﲹ(some) waterﲺorﲻof whatﲼ(has been) provided (to) youﲽﲾ(by) AllahﲿThey (will) sayﳀIndeedﳁAllahﳂhas forbidden bothﳃtoﳄthe disbelieversﳅ(50)

The residents of the Fire will then cry out to the residents of Paradise, “Aid us with some water or any provision Allah has granted you.” They will reply, “Allah has forbidden both to the disbelievers,

7:51

ﳆThose whoﳇtookﳈtheir religionﳉ(as) an amusementﳊand playﳋand deluded themﳌthe lifeﳍﳎ(of) the worldﳏSo todayﳐWe forget themﳑasﳒthey forgotﳓ(the) meetingﳔ(of) their dayﳕthisﳖand [what]ﳗ(as) they used toﳘwith Our Versesﳙthey rejectﳚ(51)

those who took this1 faith ˹of Islam˺ as mere amusement and play and were deluded by ˹their˺ worldly life.” ˹Allah will say,˺ “Today We will ignore them just as they ignored the coming of this Day of theirs and for rejecting Our revelations.”
