14:19

Do notyou seethatAllahcreatedthe heavensand the earthﱈﱉin truthIfHe willsHe can remove youand bringa creationnew(19)

Have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth for a reason? If He wills, He can eliminate you and produce a new creation.

14:20

And not(is) thatonAllahgreat(20)

And that is not difficult for Allah ˹at all˺.

14:21

And they will come forthbefore Allahall togetherthen will saythe weakto those whowere arrogantIndeed wewe wereyourfollowersso canyou (be)the one who availsusfrom(the) punishment(of) AllahanythingﱪﱫanythingThey will sayIfAllah had guided usAllah had guided usﱰﱱsurely we would have guided you(It is) samefor uswhether we show intoleranceorwe are patientnot(is) for usanyplace of escape(21)

They will all appear before Allah, and the lowly ˹followers˺ will appeal to the arrogant ˹leaders˺, “We were your ˹dedicated˺ followers, so will you ˹then˺ protect us from Allah’s torment in any way?” They will reply, “Had Allah guided us, we would have guided you. ˹Now˺ it is all the same for us whether we suffer patiently or impatiently, there is no escape for us.”

14:22

And will saythe Shaitaanwhenﱿhas been decidedthe matterIndeedAllahpromised youa promise(of) truthAnd I promised youﲇﲈbut I betrayed youBut notI hadI hadover youanyauthorityexceptthatI invited youand you respondedﲓﲔto meSo (do) notblame mebut blameﲘﲙyourselvesNot(can) I(be) your helperand notyou (can)(be) my helperIndeed, Ideny[of what]your association of me (with Allah)beforeﲥﲦbeforeIndeedthe wrongdoersfor them(is) a punishmentpainful(22)

And Satan will say ˹to his followers˺ after the judgment has been passed, “Indeed, Allah has made you a true promise. I too made you a promise, but I failed you. I did not have any authority over you. I only called you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; blame yourselves. I cannot save you, nor can you save me. Indeed, I denounce your previous association of me with Allah ˹in loyalty˺. Surely the wrongdoers will suffer a painful punishment.”

14:23

And will be admittedthose whobelievedand didrighteous deeds(to) Gardensflowsfromunderneath itthe rivers(will) abide foreverin itby the permissionﲺﲻ(of) their Lordtheir greetingstherein(will be) peaceﲿ(23)

Those who believe and do good will be admitted into Gardens, under which rivers flow—to stay there forever by the Will of their Lord—where they will be greeted with “Peace!”

14:24

Do notyou seehowAllah sets forthAllah sets forththe examplea wordgood(is) like a treegoodits root(is) firmand its branches(are) inthe sky(24)

Do you not see how Allah compares a good word to a good tree? Its root is firm and its branches reach the sky,
