14:25

ﱁGivingﱂits fruitﱃallﱄtimeﱅby the permissionﱆﱇof its LordﱈAnd Allah sets forthﱉAnd Allah sets forthﱊthe examplesﱋfor mankindﱌso that they mayﱍrememberﱎ(25)

˹always˺ yielding its fruit in every season by the Will of its Lord. This is how Allah sets forth parables for the people, so perhaps they will be mindful.

14:26

ﱏAnd (the) exampleﱐ(of) a wordﱑevilﱒ(is) like a treeﱓevilﱔuprootedﱕfromﱖthe surfaceﱗ(of) the earthﱘnotﱙfor itﱚ(is) anyﱛstabilityﱜ(26)

And the parable of an evil word is that of an evil tree, uprooted from the earth, having no stability.

14:27

ﱝAllah keeps firmﱞAllah keeps firmﱟthose whoﱠbelieveﱡwith the firm wordﱢwith the firm wordﱣinﱤthe lifeﱥ(of) the worldﱦand inﱧﱨthe HereafterﱩAnd Allah lets go astrayﱪAnd Allah lets go astrayﱫﱬthe wrongdoersﱭAnd Allah doesﱮAnd Allah doesﱯwhatﱰHe willsﱱ(27)

Allah makes the believers steadfast with the firm Word ˹of faith˺1 in this worldly life and the Hereafter. And Allah leaves the wrongdoers to stray. For Allah does what He wills.

14:28

ﱲ ﱳHave notﱴyou seenﱵ[to]ﱶthose whoﱷ(have) changedﱸ(the) Favorﱹ(of) Allahﱺ(for) disbeliefﱻand they ledﱼtheir peopleﱽ(to the) houseﱾ(of) destructionﱿ(28)

Have you not seen those ˹disbelievers˺ who meet Allah’s favours with ingratitude and lead their own people to their doom?

14:29

ﲀHellﲁﲂ(in) it they will burnﲃand a wretchedﲄplace to settleﲅ(29)

In Hell they will burn. What an evil place for settlement.

14:30

ﲆAnd they set upﲇto Allahﲈequalsﲉso that they misleadﲊfromﲋﲌHis PathﲍSayﲎEnjoyﲏbut indeedﲐyour destinationﲑ(is) toﲒthe Fireﲓ(30)

They set up equals to Allah to mislead ˹others˺ from His Way. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Enjoy yourselves! Surely your destination is the Fire.”

14:31

ﲔSayﲕto My slavesﲖthose whoﲗbelieveﲘ(to) establishﲙthe prayersﲚand (to) spendﲛfrom whatﲜWe have provided themﲝsecretlyﲞand publiclyﲟbeforeﲠbeforeﲡ[that]ﲢcomesﲣa Dayﲤnotﲥany tradeﲦin itﲧand notﲨany friendshipﲩ(31)

Tell My believing servants to establish prayer and donate from what We have provided for them—openly and secretly—before the arrival of a Day in which there will be no ransom or friendly connections.

14:32

ﲪAllahﲫ(is) the One Whoﲬcreatedﲭthe heavensﲮand the earthﲯand sent downﲰfromﲱthe skyﲲwaterﲳthen brought forthﲴfrom itﲵofﲶthe fruitsﲷ(as) a provisionﲸﲹfor youﲺand subjectedﲻfor youﲼthe shipsﲽso that they may sailﲾinﲿthe seaﳀﳁby His commandﳂand subjectedﳃfor youﳄthe riversﳅ(32)

It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and sends down rain from the sky, causing fruits to grow as a provision for you. He has subjected the ships for your service, sailing through the sea by His command, and has subjected the rivers for you.

14:33

ﳆAnd He subjectedﳇfor youﳈthe sunﳉand the moonﳊﳋboth constantly pursuing their coursesﳌand subjectedﳍfor youﳎthe nightﳏand the dayﳐ(33)

He has ˹also˺ subjected for you the sun and the moon, both constantly orbiting, and has subjected the day and night for you.
