19:96

Indeedthose whobelievedand didgood deedswill bestowfor themthe Most Graciousaffection(96)

As for those who believe and do good, the Most Compassionate will ˹certainly˺ bless them with ˹genuine˺ love.

19:97

So, onlyWe (have) made it easyin your tonguethat you may give glad tidingswith it(to) the righteousand warnwith ita peoplehostile(97)

Indeed, We have made this ˹Quran˺ easy in your own language ˹O Prophet˺ so with it you may give good news to the righteous and warn those who are contentious.

19:98

And how manyWe (have) destroyedbefore themofa generationCanyou perceiveof themanyoneorhearfrom thema sound(98)

˹Imagine˺ how many peoples We have destroyed before them! Do you ˹still˺ see any of them, or ˹even˺ hear from them the slightest sound?

20. TahaTa-Ha

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

20:1

Ta Ha(1)

Ṭâ-Hâ.

20:2

NotWe (have) sent downto youthe Quranthat you be distressed(2)

We have not revealed the Quran to you ˹O Prophet˺ to cause you distress,

20:3

(But)(as) a reminderfor (those) whofear(3)

but as a reminder to those in awe ˹of Allah˺.

20:4

A revelationfrom (He) Whocreatedthe earthand the heavens[the] high(4)

˹It is˺ a revelation from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens—

20:5

The Most Graciousoverthe Throneis established(5)

the Most Compassionate, ˹Who is˺ established on the Throne.

20:6

To Him (belongs)ﱿwhatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earthand whatever(is) between themand whatever(is) underthe soil(6)

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth and whatever is in between and whatever is underground.

20:7

And ifyou speak aloudthe wordthen indeed, Heknowsthe secretand the more hidden(7)

Whether you speak openly ˹or not˺, He certainly knows what is secret and what is even more hidden.

20:8

Allah (there is) nogodexceptﲗﲘHimTo Him (belong)the Namesthe Most Beautiful(8)

Allah—there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. He has the Most Beautiful Names.

20:9

And hascome to youthe narration(of) Musa(9)

Has the story of Moses reached you ˹O Prophet˺?

20:10

Whenhe sawa firethen he saidto his familyStay hereindeed, I[I] perceiveda fireperhaps I (can)bring youtherefroma burning brandorI findatthe fireguidance(10)

When he saw a fire, he said to his family, “Wait here, ˹for˺ I have spotted a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a torch from it, or find some guidance at the fire.”1

20:11

Then whenhe came to ithe was calledO Musa(11)

But when he approached it, he was called, “O Moses!

20:12

Indeed, [I]I Amyour Lordso removeyour shoesﲿIndeed, you(are) in the valleythe sacred(of) Tuwa(12)

It is truly I. I am your Lord! So take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Ṭuwa.
