41:21
ﱁAnd they will sayﱂto their skinsﱃWhy doﱄyou testifyﱅﱆagainst usﱇThey will sayﱈAllah made us speakﱉAllah made us speakﱊthe One Whoﱋmakes speakﱌeveryﱍﱎthingﱏand Heﱐcreated youﱑ(the) firstﱒtimeﱓand to Himﱔyou will be returnedﱕ(21)
They will ask their skin ˹furiously˺, “Why have you testified against us?” It will say, “We have been made to speak by Allah, Who causes all things to speak. He ˹is the One Who˺ created you the first time, and to Him you were bound to return.
41:22
ﱖAnd notﱗyou wereﱘcovering yourselvesﱙlestﱚtestifyﱛagainst youﱜyour hearingﱝand notﱞyour sightﱟand notﱠyour skinsﱡbutﱢyou assumedﱣthatﱤAllahﱥ(does) notﱦknowﱧmuchﱨof whatﱩyou doﱪ(22)
You did not ˹bother to˺ hide yourselves from your ears, eyes, and skin to prevent them from testifying against you. Rather, you assumed that Allah did not know much of what you used to do.
41:23
ﱫAnd thatﱬ(was) your assumptionﱭwhichﱮyou assumedﱯabout your LordﱰIt has ruined youﱱand you have becomeﱲofﱳthe losersﱴ(23)
It was that ˹false˺ assumption you entertained about your Lord that has brought about your doom, so you have become losers.”
41:24
ﱵThen ifﱶthey endureﱷthe Fireﱸ(is) an abodeﱹﱺfor themﱻand ifﱼthey ask for favorﱽthen notﱾtheyﱿ(will be) ofﲀthose who receive favorﲁ(24)
Even if they endure patiently, the Fire will ˹always˺ be their home. And if they ˹beg to˺ appease ˹their Lord˺, they will never be allowed to.
41:25
ﲂ ﲃAnd We have destinedﲄfor themﲅcompanionsﲆ(who) made fair-seemingﲇto themﲈwhatﲉ(was) before themﲊ(was) before themﲋand whatﲌ(was) behind themﲍand (is) justifiedﲎagainst themﲏthe Wordﲐamongﲑnationsﲒ(that have) passed awayﲓ(that have) passed awayﲔbefore themﲕbefore themﲖofﲗthe jinnﲘﲙand the menﲚIndeed, theyﲛwereﲜlosersﲝ(25)
We placed at their disposal ˹evil˺ associates who made their past and future ˹misdeeds˺ appealing to them.1 ˹So˺ the fate of earlier communities of jinn and humans has been justified against them ˹as well˺, ˹for˺ they were truly losers.
41:26
ﲞAnd saidﲟthose whoﲠdisbelieveﲡ(Do) notﲢlistenﲣto thisﲤQuranﲥand make noiseﲦthereinﲧso that you mayﲨovercomeﲩ(26)
The disbelievers advised ˹one another˺, “Do not listen to this Quran but drown it out so that you may prevail.”
41:27
ﲪBut surely We will cause to tasteﲫthose whoﲬdisbelieveﲭa punishmentﲮsevereﲯand surely We will recompense themﲰ(the) worstﲱ(of) whatﲲthey used toﲳdoﲴ(27)
So We will certainly make the disbelievers taste a severe punishment, and We will surely repay them according to the worst of their deeds.
41:28
ﲵThatﲶ(is the) recompenseﲷ(of the) enemiesﲸ(of) Allah ﲹﲺthe Fireﲻfor themﲼthereinﲽ(is the) homeﲾ(of) the eternityﲿ(as) recompenseﳀfor whatﳁthey used toﳂof Our Versesﳃrejectﳄ(28)
That is the reward of Allah’s enemies: the Fire, which will be their eternal home—a ˹fitting˺ reward for their denial of Our revelations.
41:29
ﳅAnd (will) sayﳆthose whoﳇdisbelieveﳈOur LordﳉShow usﳊthose whoﳋmisled usﳌofﳍthe jinnﳎand the menﳏ(so) we may put themﳐunderﳑour feetﳒthat they beﳓofﳔthe lowestﳕ(29)
The disbelievers will ˹then˺ cry, “Our Lord! Show us those jinn and humans who led us astray: we will put them under our feet so that they will be among the lowest ˹in Hell˺.”
