3:53

ﱁOur Lordﱂwe believe[d]ﱃin whatﱄYou revealedﱅand we follow[ed]ﱆthe Messengerﱇthen write usﱈamongﱉthe witnessesﱊ(53)

˹They prayed to Allah,˺ “Our Lord! We believe in Your revelations and follow the messenger, so count us among those who bear witness.”

3:54

ﱋAnd they schemedﱌand plannedﱍﱎAllahﱏAnd Allahﱐ(is the) bestﱑ(of) the plannersﱒ(54)

And the disbelievers made a plan ˹against Jesus˺, but Allah also planned—and Allah is the best of planners.

3:55

ﱓWhenﱔsaidﱕAllahﱖO IsaﱗIndeed, Iﱘ(will) take youﱙand raise youﱚto Myselfﱛand purify youﱜfromﱝthose whoﱞdisbelieve[d]ﱟand I will makeﱠthose whoﱡfollow[ed] youﱢsuperiorﱣ(to) those whoﱤdisbelieve[d]ﱥonﱦ(the) Dayﱧﱨ(of) [the] ResurrectionﱩThenﱪto Meﱫ(is) your returnﱬand I will judgeﱭbetween youﱮabout whatﱯyou wereﱰ[in it]ﱱdifferingﱲ(55)

˹Remember˺ when Allah said, “O Jesus! I will take you1 and raise you up to Myself. I will deliver you from those who disbelieve, and elevate your followers above the disbelievers until the Day of Judgment. Then to Me you will ˹all˺ return, and I will settle all your disputes.

3:56

ﱳThen as forﱴthose whoﱵdisbelieve[d]ﱶthen I will punish themﱷ(with) a punishmentﱸsevereﱹinﱺthe worldﱻand (in) the HereafterﱼAnd notﱽfor themﱾanyﱿhelpersﲀ(56)

As for those who disbelieve, I will subject them to a severe punishment in this life and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.

3:57

ﲁAnd as forﲂthose whoﲃbelieve[d]ﲄand didﲅ[the] righteous deedsﲆthen He will grant them in fullﲇﲈtheir rewardﲉAnd Allahﲊ(does) notﲋloveﲌthe wrongdoersﲍ(57)

And as for those who believe and do good, they will be rewarded in full. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers.”

3:58

ﲎThatﲏ(is what) We recite [it]ﲐto youﲑofﲒthe Versesﲓand the Reminder ﲔ[the] Wiseﲕ(58)

We recite ˹all˺ this to you ˹O Prophet˺ as one of the signs1 and ˹as˺ a wise reminder.

3:59

ﲖIndeedﲗ(the) likenessﲘ(of) IsaﲙnearﲚAllahﲛ(is) like (the) likenessﲜﲝ(of) AdamﲞHe created himﲟfromﲠdustﲡthenﲢHe saidﲣto himﲤBeﲥand he wasﲦ(59)

Indeed, the example of Jesus in the sight of Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be!” And he was!

3:60

ﲧThe truthﲨ(is) fromﲩyour Lordﲪso (do) notﲫbeﲬamongﲭthe doubtersﲮ(60)

This is the truth from your Lord, so do not be one of those who doubt.

3:61

ﲯThen whoeverﲰargues (with) youﲱconcerning itﲲfromﲳafterﲴwhatﲵcame to youﲶofﲷthe knowledgeﲸthen sayﲹComeﲺlet us callﲻour sonsﲼand your sonsﲽand our womenﲾand your womenﲿand ourselvesﳀand yourselvesﳁthenﳂlet us pray humblyﳃand [we] invokeﳄthe curseﳅ(of) Allahﳆonﳇthe liarsﳈ(61)

Now, whoever disputes with you ˹O Prophet˺ concerning Jesus after full knowledge has come to you, say, “Come! Let us gather our children and your children, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves—then let us sincerely invoke Allah’s curse upon the liars.”
