92:10

Then We will ease himtowards [the] difficulty(10)

We will facilitate for them the path of hardship.

92:11

And notwill availhimhis wealthwhenhe falls(11)

And their wealth will be of no benefit to them when they tumble ˹into Hell˺.

92:12

Indeedupon Us(is) the guidance(12)

It is certainly upon Us ˹alone˺ to show ˹the way to˺ guidance.

92:13

And indeedfor Us(is) the Hereafterand the first (life)(13)

And surely to Us ˹alone˺ belong this life and the next.

92:14

So I warn you(of) a Fireblazing(14)

And so I have warned you of a raging Fire,

92:15

Notwill burn (in) itexceptthe most wretched(15)

in which none will burn except the most wretched—

92:16

The one whodeniedand turned away(16)

who deny and turn away.

92:17

But will be removed from itthe righteous(17)

But the righteous will be spared from it—

92:18

The one whogiveshis wealth(to) purify himself(18)

who donate ˹some of˺ their wealth only to purify themselves,

92:19

And notfor anyonewith himanyfavorto be recompensed(19)

not in return for someone’s favours,

92:20

Exceptseeking(the) Countenance(of) his Lordthe Most High(20)

but seeking the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High.

92:21

And soon, surelyhe will be pleased(21)

They will certainly be pleased.

93. Ad-DuhaaThe Morning Hours

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

93:1

By the morning brightness(1)

By the morning sunlight,

93:2

And the nightwhenit covers with darkness(2)

and the night when it falls still!

93:3

ﱿNothas forsaken youyour Lordand notHe is displeased(3)

Your Lord ˹O Prophet˺ has not abandoned you, nor has He become hateful ˹of you˺.

93:4

And surely the Hereafter(is) betterfor youthanthe first(4)

And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one.

93:5

And soonwill give youyour Lordthen you will be satisfied(5)

And ˹surely˺ your Lord will give so much to you that you will be pleased.

93:6

Did notHe find youan orphanand give shelter(6)

Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you?

93:7

And He found youlostso He guided(7)

Did He not find you unguided then guided you?

93:8

And He found youin needso He made self-sufficient(8)

And did He not find you needy then satisfied your needs?

93:9

So as forthe orphanthen (do) notoppress(9)

So do not oppress the orphan,

93:10

And as forone who asksthen (do) notrepel(10)

nor repulse the beggar.1

93:11

But as for(the) Favor(of) your Lordnarrate(11)

And proclaim the blessings of your Lord.

94. Ash-SharhThe Relief

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

94:1

Have notWe expandedfor youyour breast(1)

Have We not uplifted your heart for you ˹O Prophet˺,

94:2

And We removedfrom youyour burden(2)

relieved you of the burden
