3:133

ﱁ ﱂAnd hastentoforgivenessfromyour Lordand a Garden its width(is like that of) the heavensand the earthpreparedfor the pious(133)

And hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for those mindful ˹of Allah˺.

3:134

Those whospendin[the] easeand (in) the hardshipand those who restrainthe angerand those who pardon[from]ﱗﱘthe people and Allahlovesthe good-doers(134)

˹They are˺ those who donate in prosperity and adversity, control their anger, and pardon others. And Allah loves the good-doers.

3:135

And thosewhenthey didimmoralityorwrongedthemselves they rememberAllahthen ask forgivenessfor their sins and who(can) forgivethe sinsexceptAllahAnd notthey persistonwhatthey didwhile theyknow(135)

˹They are˺ those who, upon committing an evil deed or wronging themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins—and who forgives sins except Allah?—and they do not knowingly persist in wrongdoing.

3:136

Those their reward(is) forgivenessfromtheir Lordand Gardensflowsfromunderneath itthe riversﱿabiding foreverﲀﲁin itAnd an excellentreward(for) the (righteous) workers(136)

Their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens under which rivers flow, staying there forever. How excellent is the reward for those who work ˹righteousness˺!

3:137

Verilypassedfrombefore yousituationsthen travelinthe earthand seehowwas(the) end(of) the deniers(137)

Similar situations came to pass before you, so travel throughout the land and see the fate of the deniers.

3:138

This(is) a declarationfor the peopleand guidanceand admonitionfor the God-fearing(138)

This1 is an insight to humanity—a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.

3:139

And (do) notweakenand (do) notgrieveand you (will be)[the] superiorifyou arebelievers(139)

Do not falter or grieve, for you will have the upper hand, if you are ˹true˺ believers.

3:140

Iftouched youa woundso certainly(has) touchedthe peoplewoundﲬﲭlike itAnd this[the] daysWe alternate themamongthe people[and] so that makes evidentAllahthose whobelieve[d]and takefrom youﲹﲺmartyrsAnd Allah(does) notlovethe wrongdoersﲿ(140)

If you have suffered injuries ˹at Uḥud˺, they suffered similarly ˹at Badr˺. We alternate these days ˹of victory and defeat˺ among people so that Allah may reveal the ˹true˺ believers, choose martyrs from among you—and Allah does not like the wrongdoers—
