4:128

ﱁAnd ifﱂa womanﱃfearsﱄfromﱅher husbandﱆill-conductﱇorﱈdesertionﱉthen (there is) noﱊsinﱋon both of themﱌthatﱍthey make terms of peaceﱎbetween themselves ﱏﱐa reconciliationﱑand [the] reconciliationﱒﱓ(is) bestﱔAnd are swayedﱕthe soulsﱖﱗ(by) greedﱘBut ifﱙyou do goodﱚand fear (Allah)ﱛthen indeedﱜAllahﱝisﱞof whatﱟyou doﱠAll-Awareﱡ(128)

If a woman fears indifference or neglect from her husband, there is no blame on either of them if they seek ˹fair˺ settlement, which is best. Humans are ever inclined to selfishness.1 But if you are gracious and mindful ˹of Allah˺, surely Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

4:129

ﱢAnd neverﱣwill you be ableﱤtoﱥdeal justlyﱦbetweenﱧ[the] womenﱨeven ifﱩﱪyou desiredﱫbut (do) notﱬinclineﱭ(with) allﱮthe inclinationﱯand leave her (the other)ﱰﱱlike the suspended oneﱲAnd ifﱳyou reconcileﱴand fear (Allah)ﱵthen indeedﱶAllahﱷisﱸOft-ForgivingﱹMost Mercifulﱺ(129)

You will never be able to maintain ˹emotional˺ justice between your wives—no matter how keen you are. So do not totally incline towards one leaving the other in suspense.1 And if you do what is right and are mindful ˹of Allah˺, surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

4:130

ﱻAnd ifﱼthey separateﱽwill be enrichedﱾ(by) Allahﱿeach (of them)ﲀfromﲁﲂHis abundanceﲃand isﲄAllahﲅAll-EncompassingﲆAll-Wiseﲇ(130)

But if they choose to separate, Allah will enrich both of them from His bounties. And Allah is Ever-Bountiful, All-Wise.

4:131

ﲈAnd for Allahﲉ(is) whateverﲊ(is) inﲋthe heavensﲌand whateverﲍ(is) inﲎﲏthe earthﲐAnd surelyﲑWe have instructedﲒthose whoﲓwere givenﲔthe Bookﲕfromﲖbefore youﲗand yourselvesﲘthatﲙyou fearﲚﲛAllahﲜBut ifﲝyou disbelieve ﲞthen indeedﲟfor Allahﲠ(is) whateverﲡ(is) inﲢthe heavensﲣand whateverﲤ(is) inﲥﲦthe earthﲧAnd isﲨAllahﲩFree of needﲪPraiseworthyﲫ(131)

To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Indeed, We have commanded those given the Scripture before you, as well as you, to be mindful of Allah. But if you disobey, then ˹know that˺ to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.

4:132

ﲬAnd for Allahﲭ(is) whateverﲮ(is) inﲯthe heavensﲰand whateverﲱ(is) inﲲﲳthe earthﲴAnd is sufficientﲵAllahﲶ(as) a Disposer of affairsﲷ(132)

To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs.

4:133

ﲸIfﲹHe willsﲺHe can take you awayﲻOﲼpeopleﲽand bringﲾﲿothersﳀAnd isﳁAllahﳂoverﳃthatﳄAll-Powerfulﳅ(133)

If it is His Will, He can remove you altogether, O humanity, and replace you with others. And Allah is Most Capable to do so.

4:134

ﳆWhoeverﳇ[is]ﳈdesiresﳉrewardﳊ(of) the world ﳋthen withﳌAllahﳍ(is the) rewardﳎ(of) the worldﳏﳐand the HereafterﳑAnd isﳒAllahﳓAll-HearingﳔAll-Seeingﳕ(134)

Whoever desires the reward of this world, then ˹let them know that˺ with Allah are the rewards of this world and the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
